Back 6 was lever gore and undersized top up players for most of 2nd half with stints from thomo gallucci
ROB hunter dear himmelberg beech greenwood wigg sig gallucci gore thomo jarman lever keath played a half considering most of those are talls and played foward a few prolly playing there first game against men was always going to be tough
SANFL should be purely treated as a training exercise, fine tune tactics and to experiment with players and their roles.
Its a shame for the top up players, but I couldn't care less about the results.
The SANFL clearly don't want us there anyway.

You cant treat it as a joke. If the side is getting hammered , what does it say on players coming up. Have a look at Brisbane and GC last season in a lower league. They were hammered all the time, No one standing out.

I went to the game with the kids so only saw every second kick so can't really provide a great analysis.
Greenwood seemed to have plenty of it and keath was looking really good prior to injury.

Sounds like we're doing what we're not allowed to in the SANFL season proper. Giving the kids all the responsibility and the scoreboard be damned.
Wonder if we'll do it next week as well?

The SANFL trials are a good chance to throw some kids into the mix, which it sounds like we have done.

I don't know about others but whilst the AFLW has been good my main focus is is still in the AFL and I'd like to know what players are pushing for selection based on SANFL in particular the new guys.

A GF or a SANFL trial game, I know what I had more interested in.

Maybe we think we need extra run on a hot day.
It seems the club was searching for something positive in Thommos game "was one of the most vocal players on the park", has anyone ever read a comment like that before?
