North are poo but it's great to see some kids standing up for the Reserves.

Cheney is ready. Seeya Kelly, well done filling in.

Can't fault Knight's effort. Not far away. Needs a bit more polish.

Harto better hope he doesn't cop an injury because Keath looks like he could come in and hold down a key post.

Doedee to debut this year surely. Surely.

Himmelberg looking the goods.

Not much on the outside to take Dmac's spot. Sig a long way away yet. Need the Seed.

If Dmac spuds up again tonight I would want us to play Beech forward as the pressure man and push Charlie back up on the wing

Doedee looks ready , maybe Doedee before Cheney even

He does look like he has a decent inside/outside game Bicks what was the knock on this kid that he went in the 40s?
Wasn't much knock on Poholke but main ones were endurance and speed

Is good overhead for his size , wins contests . A perfect replacement for Lyons but should b come a better version IMO

I wish Doedee wasn't injured in the preseason. If not he could be in the team already. Hopefully he debuts within the next month.

Knight was probably the main threat to take Mackay's spot, but he just looked a little bit off, although his effort was there.

Himmelberg, Doedee, Beech, Keath, ROB, and Cheney all looked good. We've got some serious competition with our talls. Himmelberg has probably moved ahead of Dear in the young KPP stakes.

The mids are another story. Sig's got nice hands, but clearly needs to develop physically and improve his kick. I wouldn't mind if they gifted Poholke a game or two later in the year, just to give him a taste, he showed some nice signs today.

While it was good to see Gore get some more of the ball finally, I'm not sure he has enough AFL attributes to make it at the next level. Tries hard, but just doesn't do enough with the ball.

Having competent top up players makes a pretty massive difference. Leigh and Murphy especially are killing it.

No knocks other than he needed to work on his tank and maybe improve his production, if you go back to the draft thread from last season you'll see all of us that watch the U18's rated him highly, very similar player to the more highly rated Taranto in that he is good at the contested stuff, excellent overhead and quite capable of hitting the scoreboard up forward. In fact I think we were very lucky he had been overlooked up to our pick.

O'Brien, Cheney, Doedee, Beech, Knight all good. Impressed with O'briens marking around the ground. Will play soon. Himmelberg has a lot of potential and did some good tbings.

My take..
Wigg barely noticed he was playing today.
Beech quality game but still unsure if his game will hold up at AFL level or if he's an upgrade on anyone we have in there.
Doedee was a class above, needs to play AFL ASAP.
Cheney needs to come in for Kelly, he will make us a better side.
Knight was good but disposal lets him down.
Keath impressive. If he could get more of the ball he would make a nice CHB to upgrade on Hartigan. Reminds me of Hombsch in his body positioning.
Poholke had his best game with us by a mile. Can't wait to see more.
Obrien is too good for SANFL.
