Aside from Danger doing his best Jesus impersonation of being crucified on the field, my first initial thought was Sloane will miss the Grand Final.
Hawkins is brilliant 1 on 1 but he's not a renown pack mark
Lol, seems like a balanced view!!The only thing that stops Hawkins in any one on one is generally the umpires.
If he was umpired fairly he'd kick 5 to 7 most weeks.
Who’s this foggy fellow?
Another bright and early one for me and can't avoid the office. Just don't piss me off with a crappy first quarter so I am driving into work at 5:30am please.
I have no earthly idea what to make of this one---other than none of us wants to lose to a surfer.
Contact full-stop.
He runs into players (head first) & still gets a free.
Sometimes Tex and JJ remind me of when Carey played for us. His shoulders were stuffed and couldn’t raise his arms over his head
Gov gave us a real option up there. We have to fix this soon
Goals are down across the comp. There are only 8 players that have kicked more than 5 goals across the whole comp.In particular our much heralded forwards - acid is fairly and squarely upon them.
Current leading goal kickers are Betts/B Crouch with 3 each after 2 rounds.
Woeful.
Mitch McGovern hasn't taken a single contested mark in the first 2 games this year. Harry McKay leads the comp with 9.I always hear posters complain that Walker and Jenkins don't take contested marks like McGovern. However, the stats don't back that up.
Contested Mark averages per game - 2018
Alex Keath - 1.50
Taylor Walker - 1.43
Mitch McGovern - 1.25
Josh Jenkins - 1.23
Hugh Greenwood - 1.00
Daniel Talia - 1.00
So, based on those averages, McGovern would have taken about half a contested mark more than Jenkins over a full season. Walker would have taken 4 more contested marks than McGovern over a season.
Contested Mark averages per game - 2017
Taylor Walker - 1.57
Sam Jacobs - 1.44
Mitch McGovern - 1.31
Josh Jenkins - 1.19
Jake Lever - 1.10
So, based on those averages, McGovern would have taken about 2 1/2 more contested marks than Jenkins over a full season. Walker would have taken 5 1/2 more contested marks than McGovern over a season.
Jenkins and McGovern also both average 1.2 contested marks per game over their career (career data for contested marks isn't available for Walker, presumably because they weren't tracking that stat 10 years ago).
Going by the same standards, I would suggest that if the umpires paid a free every time Eddie was held without the ball he would kick 20 a game. The only thing that stops Hawkins in any one on one is generally the umpires.

You must be qualityHa, ha. I think I am!!!

Also dear crows please tackle Mr Selwood no higher than his shorts.
Depends how we perform.Got called into work - will miss the first half
A modern day tragedy

Yes of course. And Eddie would kick 9 most weeks...
