Ahh...mr reaper, would you like to come in for a drink, we have ameeican visitors overThe optimism will disappear eventually, it will get you
Maybe a smile or smirkThis.
I’m more interested in him finding the exit doorCan't wait for Nicks to tell us the system that we found again last week wasnt well executed by the players.
Pretty sure we can find a way to do either of those where it won'tWin or lose it will put a smile on my face
Essendon really should be favourites. We have limited avenues to goal whereas Essendon do not struggle to score freely against the Crows. How are we the favourites to win this?? Surely at best it should be 50/50
We are at home, we should be favourites. How are we the favourites to win this?? Surely at best it should be 50/50
Thinks we have lost something like our last 7 games against them.We reserve some of our worst football for Essendon for some reason
Duds who their own fans boo weeks later seem to light it up
I was brimming with confidence after Saturday's more freed up playing style but seeing our ultra-conservative selections has me worried that we'll revert to timid Crows.
Stringer has been pretty good this year tbf. We're Essendon's bunnies. I'm going to the game with my son. All signs point to Loserville.
No doubt that campaigner Stringer will channel Peter Daicos again and kick goals out of his arse to get them home.
Durham did absolutely torch Bont last week, he's not a spud.We usually show them a complete lack of respect.
Watch for someone like Durham to record Bontempelli like numbers tonight.
Imagine if Sholl and McHenry play and Cook is the subSholl has to be sub doesn't he?
Can't see us moving Nankervis or Jones from the wing into McHenry's role
So McHenry won't be sub
Cook permanent forward
Sub off Gollant near three quarter time and play an extra high half forward
ReportedImagine if Sholl and McHenry play and Cook is the sub
But but but... it was a Super draft! My bold prediction is that McHenry & Sholl won't be very good today.
Were the Big Footy experts right re our game plan and midfield set up in rounds 1-4 or were the Adelaide Coaching experts and Big Footy fanbois?Like most Crows supporters, I am not convinced that we have turned the corner (or are anywhere near the corner). We were very lucky to get the win last week but hopefully something clicks.
Essendon is as flaky as the 2024 Crows so anything could happen, big win, narrow win, narrow loss, big loss. It will require a bottle of red per person at the pregame BBQ so we can “enjoy” the game in a relaxed fashion.
We have at least 8 players that should be dropped according to our Bigfooty Experts so there will be plenty of players and coaches to blame if things don’t go well.
