It is a 7 day break.
P&G
You're absolutely right...
It's a 7 day break for the OPs and an 8 day break for the GE and Bentleigh boys...
and before anyone else picks it up- 'Hash' Brown kicked 8 of 12 (not 8 of11)for the Bears as well.
Still a mighty effort.
Hope my tipping accuracy is better than my maths accuracy.

to save all teams from the fatigue of travelling so far they could always stay at the pentridge inn on the sat night!!!!!:D
yeah, whats all this complaining about. Surely the boys from Old Bentleigh & Old Glen Eira would see the game in the shadows of Coburg College as a cultural opportunity. That said, I'd suggest a Dairy Bell Stadiam sundae would be a better after match option than a dodgy Sydney Rd Camel Kebab. Any chance of any C or B grade finals at Coburg?

Sources tell me the Bears, had well in excess of 30 frees. What were the Glen Eira boys up to?

we dont care WHERE the game is played & what its history is... all we want to do is win the preliminary final & progress through to the final week of the division 2 reserves season for a chance to defend our title. i can vouch for this as training was pretty damn sharp tuesday evening in the wet & will be so again tonight... look out raiders!!

the obvious answer to this is "first in for the t w, the free kicks will continually be rewarded."

maybe the saints forgot about this "little" known fact!! :p

Bentleigh 2nds look sharp... great to hear. Maybe the Saints should have turned up early to see how its done. You obviously stayed on for the 2nd game Stewie, the sainters obviously not hard enough to get their head over the ball first.

Good luck defending your "Title", stay proud.

The coburg ground is in mint condition, best ground any side will play on this year by far. Should be a cracker of a game

May want to get a team bus to the ground as your car me be not be there when you return after the game. The after game drag racing and doughnuts in the car park will be worth the admission fee !!!! :D

Sources? surely you would have been at the game being a strong Glen Eira supporter. In reponse to the frees I felt the game was over umpired and the men in white were very keen to blow the whistle. A lot of these frees were down the field frees for late hits and these were payed against both sides.

Good luck to both sides this week in trying conditions with all the predicted rain.

All this talk about where the games are to be played, who cares! That is one of the parts of the ammos comp that you will never get around. From Skye to Werribee, Peninsula - Old Westbourne every 2nd week you are on the road anyway.

As for this week, I'm sticking with Glen Eira to just get up over Parade. Think the ruck duel will be pivotal as both midfields are good but not great and believe Spink will come out on top. Before I get crunched for saying they are not great just think that match winners will be more key position like ruck or CHF/FF.

Seniors.
Preliminary Final: Glen Eira vs Old Paradians.
One of the most important matches on the season's schedule with two ultimate prizes of promotion and a grand final berth. Which is more important ? Glen Eira were super competative against the unbeatables last week while Old Paradians found their lost form when it counted. And it was their star Boundy that stood up and took control. Both teams have shown good patches of form during the season although the fade-outs by Old Paradians in late season didn't appear to be a concern to those in the inner circle as there was no panic coming into the finals series. The mental attitude of both sides will be interesting with the Saints complaining about the day and venue of the game on their website while the Raiders are looking to ride the winning wave. Attitude goes a long way and I fancy the Raiders to get the money and claim promotion.

Hey, Sniper 20, are you going to give up smoking and get ride of your stupid Avatar now that the baby has given up smoking, that was reported on the Internet ?

Funny because I don't smoke but who says the avatar is stupid. Saw that today on ninemsn - Might change at seasons end, disappointing though, not quite as amusing now that he's given up the darts. Ah well all good things must come to an end.

For old times sake:(

Dont confuse a few Glen Eira supporters complaining about the time and place of this weeks game, with the Glen Eira senior squad and club in general. I'm sure they are ready to play anywhere. Speaking of, Coburg is done after this weekend to be prepared for cricket season. Any thoughts where the GF will be played, i'm hearing Craigieburn somewhere.

Lets talk about this week, The VAFA have for some unknown reason made the game on the Sunday against Old Paradians. Fathers day for goodness sake. It will effect players, supporters and helpers to get out to Coburg. But hopefully you will all try and schedule your day and help our cause

You truely are a moron. That was to alert supporters to the fact that being fathers' day maybe some organisation would be involved so as many supporters as possible would be able to schedule their day and try to get to the game. Apart from anything else Coburg is a long way from GE. Moron do you think the players and club wont be going all out to get into D1. If you saw the game last week you would understand our endeavour.

Boys pack your skis for a slippery muddy ground tomorrow

First in hard for the ball will win it

Results could go either way

Pack the longest studs you have

Good luck to all teams tomorrow
