Seniors: Ivanhoe to beat OW by 16 points
Reserves: Swinny to beat OW by 17 points

Everyones elses tips?? Any others wanting to join my bandwagon like Crazy Bear?

Hottie - I hear a little whisper that the Hoes might be pulling a surprise or two with selection this week?

Two ex VFA stars to play - one a 'big man' who plays up forward and the other who 'had a little holiday' recently from the VAFA tribunal.

That would ad a little spice to this contest......

Chumpy - I think you'll find that these blokes won't be eligible to play as they need to play a certain number of games to qualify.

Old Westbourne to win both although I expect Ivanhoe to throw out a good challenge, as as I have stated in the past, their side is very suited to finals footy.

I'm on the Hoes bandwagon too, good luck to all the boys & I hope you bring home the flag in a farewell to Rawls & Trav! It would be a great way to end their careers...

You might find you may only need to play 1 game to qualify - go and spread yourself on another thread....

Seniors: The Hoes by 10 points (have cleverly hidden their best combo from OW both times they've met)

Ressies: Swinny by 25 points (2 goals 13 - Have looked dominant in both finals and would annihilate OW if they could kick straight)

I think I will stay on the love boat ETE. I am not to sure on the margins as I am waiting on some PM messages tonight to make a firm call on that.

Seniors : OW by plenty - best team in it, have been all year and will spoil the Hoe party easily. Forward line too strong, great mid-field and best defence in the comp to cope with Ivanhoes one man band.
Reserves: Tough one here - Swinney have been playing pretty well and could cause an upset. The big key is if players drop back from OW's ones team that they had against the Hawks to make way for some inclusions. If they don't then I think that Swinney could pinch it.

I know that some people are picking with their heart and it's nice to see some Ivanhoe people get on and support their club - but come off it people OW in a canter !

PM messages? If you're listening to what Johnny Howard has to say you might be in trouble!

As much as the Ivanhoe people are picking with their tickers, you seem to have struggled to even comment neutrally on the Black-On-White Magpies all year... But it's entertaining reading all the same.

And you are right, OW will win, as much as I'd love to see them fall over face first.

Ok, so more support 4 my bandwagon than i expected, esp when they are playing the clear leader all year. Perhaps they've all visited my guru lately.

Anyone from Hawthorn have any thoughts on the chances, seeing as you've played these two teams most recently?

OW easy in the big one - 48 points. Ivanhoe have been brave, but not in the same class. Bezerk, akkadakka and Patty O'furchina - get the beer cold.

westbourne in the seniors by 32points. In the 2'nds swinny by 35points. Swinny will be to strong in the middle & could win by a greater margin if they 1/ kick straight & 2/ dont stop @ 3/4time & let westbourne kick the last few of the game.

Righto, ACDC are you Bon Scott or Brian Johnson? And Akkadakka, which one are you? Could this be the Connors bros from outwest?

Eagle, I think the hawks boys have done enough dribbling this year - this is what this forum is for isn't - so doubt we'll see them on here

Hi Knackers2 - would never listen to that little tool - but lets not get political on a fun footy forum. It is also true that I have struggled to praise the black & whites, but I really just can't give them any love - GO OW !!!

As for pm messages - i have two 'little birdies' that feed some info and the OW boys will be feeling even more confident this morning I would imagine;)

On top of that - a quick check on the VAFA website shows the following:

VFL RELEASED PLAYERS FOR THIS WEEK'S FINALS
Sandringham- Shane Tregear- VAFA- Old Brighton
Sandringham- Michael Curcio- VAFA- St Bedes Mentone
Sandringham- Simon Richards- VAFA- St Bedes Mentone
Sandringham- Chris Richards- VAFA- St Bedes Mentone
Sandringham- Jake Williams- VAFA- Old Xaverians
Northern Bullants- Joseph Macula- VAFA- Uni Blues
Northern Bullants- Julien Moussi- VAFA- St Kevins Old Boys
Northern Bullants- Hamish Townsend- VAFA- St Kevins Old Boys
Geelong- Butler, Nicholas- VAFA- Old Ivanhoe
Geelong- McArthur, Andrew- VAFA- University Blues
Werribee- Chris Hudson- VAFA- Old Westbourne

It just keeps getting better .........ha ha ha ha.

My tips:

OW by 17 points. Limited avenues to goal for Ivanhoe may cost them - I hope it doesn't but I think it will.

And OW by 21 in the reserves. Pigs won't cut the mustard.

I hope I am wrong on both counts, I am not a fan of OW much like no one is a fan of Hawthorn outside of Rathmines, but I can't see them losing either game.

Be a big risk playing Hudson since he hasn't played any footy for 2 months. Champ nervous before tomorrow's big game.

Chance to win first senior premiership in nearly 40 years. All the best to you and the rest of the crew from Ivanhoe;)

Big chance of rain tomorrow, hope it softens the ground a little.

Oldtimer - up to your old tricks again - brilliant.

Yes, I am very nervous about the game - they rely so much on me it's unbelievable pressure. I just hope I can perform:D
