Maybe Ned Kelly's performance last week in the GV is the inspiration behind the decision

Hottie - I hear a little whisper that the Hoes might be pulling a surprise or two with selection this week?
Two ex VFA stars to play - one a 'big man' who plays up forward and the other who 'had a little holiday' recently from the VAFA tribunal.
That would ad a little spice to this contest......
Chumpy - I think you'll find that these blokes won't be eligible to play as they need to play a certain number of games to qualify.
Old Westbourne to win both although I expect Ivanhoe to throw out a good challenge, as as I have stated in the past, their side is very suited to finals footy.
I'm on the Hoes bandwagon too, good luck to all the boys & I hope you bring home the flag in a farewell to Rawls & Trav! It would be a great way to end their careers...
You might find you may only need to play 1 game to qualify - go and spread yourself on another thread....
So I know a few people have put their tips/thoughts of this weeks games, so here are mine
Seniors: Ivanhoe to beat OW by 16 points
Reserves: Swinny to beat OW by 17 points
Everyones elses tips?? Any others wanting to join my bandwagon like Crazy Bear?

I think I will stay on the love boat ETE. I am not to sure on the margins as I am waiting on some PM messages tonight to make a firm call on that.
I know that some people are picking with their heart and it's nice to see some Ivanhoe people get on and support their club - but come off it people OW in a canter !
Ok, so more support 4 my bandwagon than i expected, esp when they are playing the clear leader all year. Perhaps they've all visited my guru lately.
Anyone from Hawthorn have any thoughts on the chances, seeing as you've played these two teams most recently?
westbourne in the seniors by 32points. In the 2'nds swinny by 35points. Swinny will be to strong in the middle & could win by a greater margin if they 1/ kick straight & 2/ dont stop @ 3/4time & let westbourne kick the last few of the game.
PM messages? If you're listening to what Johnny Howard has to say you might be in trouble!
As much as the Ivanhoe people are picking with their tickers, you seem to have struggled to even comment neutrally on the Black-On-White Magpies all year... But it's entertaining reading all the same.
And you are right, OW will win, as much as I'd love to see them fall over face first.
Werribee- Chris Hudson- VAFA- Old Westbourne
It just keeps getting better .........ha ha ha ha.
Chris Hudson as in Critter? That 6'4" bloke who can take a grab up forward?
If so I might adjust my margin to 22 points for the late game.
Don't know if he goes by that name - you would have to ask someone who is involved at OW.
i.e. Not you? Your posts definately mirror the style of Mr Phalanages
Be a big risk playing Hudson since he hasn't played any footy for 2 months. Champ nervous before tomorrow's big game.
Chance to win first senior premiership in nearly 40 years. All the best to you and the rest of the crew from Ivanhoe
Big chance of rain tomorrow, hope it softens the ground a little.
