Got back a F2 and got enough points for the campo twins also.

See you in 20 years when Leppa is still there Dodo style making shit deals and claiming to have won trade period.

Pies genuinely got shafted.
Turned a Country League player and a MSD pickup into a deal to get an AA gun - that’s magnificent work.
Anything else?

What's enough points for the Campo twins?

You have 3 picks in the 60s and one 70s pick which add up to 239pts

If one of the Campo twins gets bid at pick 48 (300pts ... 20% discount gets to 240) ... that's a match .... then what about the other twin?

If one of them gets bid on before pick 48 you are into draft deficit... into next year where your first pick is currently 32
Those picks come in as others disappear due to bids on Kako, Ashcroft etc. So they are more like picks in the 50s.

Lucas is a rookie pick potentially also.

Lukosius better perform in 2025.

The Korn is angry. He will be scrutinising his every move on the field and will torch him at every opportunity if he does anything wrong.

As will the Power supporters, unmercifully. .
He does have every right to be.

Port got shafted taking that contract on / losing Dan and a F1. 🧐

I mean seriously they said to the Eagles watch this and hold our beer regarding worst trade so far.

Port fans have every right to be ropeable IMO.

The goal in footy is to be good, not young. Besides a clear weakness in the second key defensive post, Collingwood's 2025 team looks as good if not better than in 2023.
Except all those at 30+ are clearly starting to hit brick walls

Anyway what about your 2024 team ... weren't they supposed to be as good or better than your 2023 team?

Those picks all come down about 10 spots once bids are matched so we'll have about 600 points to play with .

Also, points discount post pick 18 is 197 so pick 48 would only cost 103 points.

Should be fine even if bids come in the late 20s / early 30s.

Port board stopped it last night as it was less than they really wanted from the trade and thought they will try to hook up a deal with North. North today saying no, not enough time now and that fell through so Port had to go back to the negotiating table and have essentially taken the same deal in the end as they knew it was going to be awkward keeping Houston after his head was turned and a move to Melbourne was there in front of him.
Not sure north even had the opportunity to say no.

Hilarious Pick 50 was the thing that got this over the line.

Also hilarious how much of a rabble we are at trading each year. We just helped gift Houston to Collingwood and didn’t get value for pick 13 like we could’ve
Haven't you got three potential r1 academy kids next year with a change to the rules coming?

Now you have 3 R1 picks for next year.

I got feeling Lako will end up like a yo-yo between Port seniors & SANFL next season. I hope for Port it isn't but could end up being like Jack Watts. Lako is overrated.

You think its garbage even though Hawthorn got the exact same deal for a lesser pick...makes sense.
Yes, I think there's a big difference between Carlton and St Kildas future picks.

Suns needed players? They could've just done a side deal for Noble and auctioned off pick 13 to the highest bidder but they chose to help the pies.
Collingwood would have then demanded the earth like Richmond are for Rioli. The Suns, to their shame, are too weak to not give in to extortion.

Absolutely... Gold Coast did a salary dump of 2 players they didn't want & got in a player they did want... & 2x future 1sts.

Port took on the salary dump players (1 they wanted in Lukosius), lost a gun in Houston & still gave up their future 1st.

Imo, if Port gave up their future 2nd instead of theit future 1st, the trade would have been closer in value.
Gold Coast can now match bids for Beau Addinsall & Zeke Uwland next year quite easily now with those two F1s

Biggest winner in this trade is the Suns by far
