Yes that's a good point. I just can't see it happening unless Port are getting fisted at the table, no way Blues should be agreeing to a trade involving 2 firsts for a half back flanker.

I’m not saying we’ll get Houston at all but the salary cap thing that constantly gets trotted out is a bit ridiculous. We’ll delist and move on quite a few this year and free cap space. Rough estimates for just a few of the likely outs:

• J. Martin - 500-600K
• Marchbank - 400-500K
• Cuningham - 400-500K

• Houston - 800K
• Draftee - base wage (100-200K)
• Draftee - bass wage (100-200K)

That’s just a simple way to show how it could be achieved. I also don’t understand why Carlton would be in any more cap strife than other teams. All teams would be operating close to the cap.
