Otherwise, David nominates a price and goes in to the PSD a la Luke Ball.

Unless he put up a contract price on his head that nobody but North could afford to pay, he would not last to you in the PSD, whoever would have first pick would swoop on him.
Luke Ball to Collingwood is the exception, not the rule.

He would go to the ND, not the PSD. That way, any club that took him would have to risk their first rounder on a player that didn't want to be there.

Personally, I think he'll be at GC for the next 15 years.

U see, it may be hard to believe but money isn't everything to everyone. Andrew and his brother are best mates, we are going to go very hard don't worry about that, the time will come and so will he. Wat culture does Gold Coast have, one built on assembling a list of highly over paid talent from around the country and other clubs. He knows what north stands for because he is fed it by his brother, our next captain, like it or not we will leave no stone unturned in getting him to the club

They may not have history, but of course they have a culture. All organisations/clubs do. What kind? My assumption is their culture is centred around 'newness' and a sense of breaking new ground together. There would clearly be a certain appeal in that for some.
