Melbourne probably only need to win 1 more game now and still have St Kilda, Sydney and North to come. Carlton will win this week but now the game V St Kilda is no way a certainty for Carlton if St Kilda get an expected bounce in performance (and they were good V geelong at Kardinia park only on the weekend anyway). I see both melbourne and St Kilda beating Sydney and can only now see Carlton realistically beating GC. Anyone here thinking we are a chance to lose that is kidding themselves - we are flat track bullies and will flog them. Then carlton have games V WCE - loss, Richmond - loss, St Kilda - 50/50 now at best then finish with Geelong at Geelong - big loss

Edit: with Carltons really tough run home, their % could take a big hit as well meaning that even if melbourne don't win another game they could still finish above Carlton on %

Melbourne will get any required player operations done early. It's obvious what they are doing and playing Steven May up forward is evidence of that. Goodwin needs to be next sacked.

Just reading the Sack Ken thread and one of their people did a ladder predictor that said they could still end up with pick 2 if they lose the rest of the games. That'd be bloody right. The one time we have a chance to get a really good pick, Gold coast get a priority pick, and PortBloodyAdelaide finish bottom 2!

what you are saying sounds very reasonable and logical..my worry is that in these times where the AFL are hellbent on saving their gold coast project, nothing will be off the table
