 whatever gets you through the night...

Moloney has taken a spirited public swipe at his former Melbourne teammate Brock McLean. Moloney made it clear on Wednesday night, in front of 800 of the Demon faithful, that McLean would not be missed if he did not believe the club was heading in the right direction.
"We are on a straight line and we will not deviate . . . if you don't want to be on that straight line go to Carlton, go wherever," Moloney said.

That's hilarious. Melbourne are pretty much screwed draft picks wise, with the new teams coming in (we bottomed out at SUCH a good time) and shouldn't be seriously looking at finals or any sort of success for about 10 years. Brock has to wait 3 at most to be pushing for a flag.

Actually they have bottomed out at a perfect time, already having about 4 years of low draft pick and with 4 picks inside the top 18 they are well placed.

I wanna know why they were singing their song at the BnF after they finished bottom....did they even know the words??

Big talk from Molony who will most likely stuggle to get a game when the team is successful anyway. It would be like Digby Morrall getting stuck into Camporeale when he left.

I expected nothing less from that club, after Dean Bailey publically berated Chris Johnson for leaving because of a better deal put forth by Carlton. Johnson was not guaranteed a future by Bailey after the 1 year deal he was offered and Dean still felt he should crack the sads ...

Dean Bailey is becoming Alistair Clarkson Mk II.

... only he looks more like Phil Collins.

Just adds a bit of spice for when we smash them by 10 goals next year.

I am sure brock won't mind when he looks our round and sees Juddy, Murph and gibbsy standing next to him in navy blue and moloney looks around and sees james mcdonald standing next to him.

Awww.......they are just a little upset that one of their better leaders turned his back on their club.

Fixed that for you mate.

This is my favourite line of that article.

"McLean, who finished 11th in the best-and-fairest, was not at the function.":D

counting your chickens much?
Well I guess it would be similar to you guys saying Bryce Gibbs would be a gun circa October 2006.

That turned out to be spot on, don't see why Trengove (who has been labelled as good as if not better than Gibbs) and Scully won't be.

Because you can't develop players with Nathan Jones treading water as a player...

Jones was dropped last year...

And Scully has tiny hands...

Just exactly who is going to kick all the goals now that Fevs gone?
