Miles wouldnt get a game at any other clubs senior list. I swear everytime we play lyndale he gets a little bump and runs off the ground holding his shoulders. Weak as pis*

He's a spud. Prob struggle for a game in Pumas 2's so thought he better coach so he can pick himself

But hey even if they do then no serious threat like the past 10 years.
Lyndale with be ok if they can hold it together and keep a coach for longer than 1 season
Their 2's will struggle.. To many old blokes and a shit coach brenton "spud" miles will see them fall off in 2nd half of season
E hills back to back in 2's..
And Eagles will win seniors

Carrum will finish bottom 3 this year. Terrible president and terrible recruiting and lost 12 gun players. They wont kick more than 8 goals a match as they have no forwards.

A lot of people people know who you a recruiting that's what the judgements are made on. And the posts of who wants to come do some handball practice on your page doesn't boost your cred

That's odd. Bergs and Hodgey looked good on the track this week and I would of thought DC was a pretty good replacement for Bos. Then again I was only there, seeing it in person, I could be wrong.

Unfortunately we will miss the hillbilly posters and all their aliases as going by a trade on the site at Dandenong this morning boys have been read the riot act by the president to stay off BF. falc10 put up arguments as only time he gets to communicate and FIGJAM himself to the wider community but was shot down by the veteran committe.

Carrum has lost their best talent and will heavily rely on their 19s who have come up and don't want to play senior football.
Have brought in a lot of south Mornington rejects who struggled to get a game last year and have appointed a reserves coach who lacks experience and lied to get the job word has it.

Can you elaborate on this point??

To the point, why did Sth Yarra Cull last years coach????? The radio guys were in love with him as he gave seemingly great analysis however if you worked through his statements 90% were wrong over his tenure.

Something must have happened. Rumour is he didn't get to the opening of th light tower ceremony .

he was required to re-interview for the job and he did but the bloke who got it will/is apparently bringing some sponsors with him and I'm not sure how recruiting would have gone considering Dev is has been at the Yarra's for years and was probably not going to be able to recruit the players we need to go to become a finals cpontender as he has over the last 2 seasons...whether Daisy has remains to be seen as I don't train til 1st practice match march 19th

Thanks for reply however I think we can see through a few things 1) Dev has been there for years??...how many years has he been coaching Sth Yarra this stint? 2) so Sth Yarra's prime coaching requirements for any prospective coaches in the future are to bring sponsors and players, dont worry about your coaching credentials as the club only wants coach tenured players and sponsors" i.e. when the coach goes so to the sponsors and players he brought into the club akin to Sandown with their GM brainwave which has seen an exodus of sponsors. Sth Yarra must have such an invigorating and short sighted president and committee in its midst to just appoint anyone who can pretend to bring players and sponsors .....well those comments virtually underpin why your club will be cemented in Div 3 for a number of years like our club. We are always chasing the 'mesiah' who will bring sponsors and players and we forget we are just playing down and dirty Div 3 suburban football. So looking at the clearances I see Yarra's have no new players so far - considering the NEW coach is up and about one would have through that his promised players would have been signed and sealed by now. Can you enlighten us on the big sponsors he has introduced to the club as surely he would have already delivered on that promise.? You haven't appointed Andrew Flanagan have you???

dev was playing there when i turned up in 2011 and has played masters in between those yrs - he's a south yarra man and he's now building the junior program for us

the new coach has coached and played in winning premierships but for a tiny club ours potential sponsors has to play a part

we'll have 5 or 6 new senior players this season from what i hear but like is aid i'm not at the club so i'm not privy to any of that until i get there in march

i think it was the right call to bring someone in - without any feeder junior team we need a coach that can bring players in which dev did, and we've had minimal turnover in the last 2yrs which means our 2's will be contending once again

we're still building so we're not messiah hunting yet but we have the talent to make finals this yr but talent only gets you so far as we all know, you've got to put it together
