With all the criticism poor old Lyndhurst have copped on here lately, I've decided I'll dust off the boots and give them a chop out.
Haven't played since 2000 and my neck is still farked from when Byron Pickett tried to kill me at Waverley.
Remuneration is negotiable but I suggest you check out my 5 goal effort against Adelaide in Round 9 of 97, should be in the channel 7 vaults somewhere.
I'll even sign a few of my footy cards for the young lads.

No sorry, I am not from Mt Waverley. I am a good friend of one of the committee members down there, and attend most of their games, but no, definitely not a supporter. Who could support the arrogance of Jarrod Wilkin. The amount of money they pay him to stay at that club, is absolutely laughable, and the rest of you for thinking he is loyal, hahaha. he tried a higher level, couldn't compete, so returned to mount on huge money and you all praise him for his commitment. You should here what he says to the committee, "lovely bloke" far from the truth. If only mt Waverley had a backbone he would have been shown the door years ago.
Yes I went to watch the Lyndhurst game, they are putrid, so are Templestowe, the idiot who said they would thrash all div 3 sfl teams is an idiot. yes we know sfl div 3 is the worst competition in the world, but Templestowe looked very ordinary also. and still won by 100 points.
Listening in to Lyndhurst, they truly believe they are playing finals this year. And what is their passion for Doveton? They kept on saying, come on guys, pretend they are doveton, lets belt them, show them the heart that will win us a premiership this year.
I mean seriously, do they really think they will play finals let alone win the flag?

Officially the most idiotic post i've ever read on this forum and that is saying alot!
Wilkin is a star and anyone who questions that is a goose.
As for questioning Templestowes quality, you clearly have no idea. They finished 3rd last year in the EFL div 3. Have recruited a number of serious footballers from higher divisions and would comfortably win SFL div 2. Goose.

They finished 2nd actually, but couldn't hold up in the finals and dint make the granny. first of all, not questioning what theyd do in SFL, a division 4 team from EFL would probably win the division 1 sfl flag, SFL is poo. what I am saying is that they had a lot of players missing on sunday, so their team was very average, and they still won by 100 points.
as for wilkin, so to be a star, all you have to do is play loose, get 20 easy kicks, game in and game out, and you are a star. using the term a little loosely aren't you? a star would have won them a flag by now. the guy is a cancer in the mt Waverley system. players might love him, supporters may too, im telling you the committee don't, and he is far from a star. we are talking sfl div 3, give me a spell mr rant over.

Were you involved with the payment negotiations??? When, lets say, he was rather specific, for lack of better words allowed on big footy, about what it is going to take to keep him in a mt Waverley jumper?

Yes I was. Not sure what you mean by "he was rather specific", though.
Jarrod has never accepted any money when he was just a player.
Even when he first joined the coaching staff, he didn't ask for money. Credit to him on how much he just wants to help and be part of our club.
We said we wanted to because he is now a coach and he could've left our club many years earlier and to chase coin, but he didn't.
And I know for a fact that Clayton FC offered him money and he refused, as I am family friends with their ex-President and he always kept complaining he couldn't lure Jarrod away.
We as a club pay our coaching staff in numerous methods (ie. we pay for their coaching courses, or directly pay them).
Jarrod is still part of the coaching staff and runs numerous training sessions and will be a big influence at match committee level and on game day.
No player (current or past) has ever had verbal or written contract with our club to get paid. Full stop.
I hope this puts this matter to rest once and for all.

So far from the truth it isn't funny.
Keeping your dirty laundry in house, good policy, but I rather tend to believe you have no idea what went on, as I have it from the horses mouth what jarrod stated in these meetings, from a very angry committee person, obviously not yourself. but good luck to you for wanting to keep him, says a lot about your club, and the reason why you have never won a flag.

He is on 250 a game. I heard Lyndale tried offering $220, no fees, $10 a goal and $5 for a direct goal assist each game, and free entry to all Lyndale events. He said match $250 from doveton and he'll play. The committee tried for 30 minutes to explain to him that their offer was more than just $250 a game before giving up and letting him go.

I don't even care if you think we pay players or whatever, but if you actually knew Jarrod, you would know what an upstanding guy he is.
By you pot-shotting him on here, shows what kind of person you are.
That's base payment for everyone at the eagles. We are loaded. I heard Turbo bought a house over summer with Eagles money alone.

No pace, chest marks, floaters, hospital passes, stops to pick up ground balls, chest marks,u turns, no talk, can't bounce, chest marks, only 5 rated players that I saw tonight,walking in between drills and a coach that has no experience.
Kindly explain to me and big footy how in the hell you plan on playing finals????
