Aquinas had an intraclub last night with 6 on the bench for both sides and some promising enough signs for our first serious hit out. We have two practice games against Caulfield and Highett at The Vein on the 21st and 28th. Anybody else got any information on how clubs are tracking at this stage of the season?

Emmaus are looking good for another great year. Plenty of numbers on the track. Hitout with Div 1 side North Old Boys tomorrow will see where they are at..

How did they go?
i would imagine they would be disappointed with how they finished their season, especially with going out in straight sets and finishing the H&A season poorly

Had a practice match against Albert Park yesterday.

Numbers, professionalism and approach impressive. Expect them to have a big year.

Albert Park v Monash G praccy game was a scrappy affair in windy conditions - usual 1st game of the year skills on display. IMO

Chump

I believe the Hawks beat South Yarra (SFL Div 3) by a goal.
The hawks should be competitive this season, however, i just believe West Brunswick has the edge over them and they may finish higher and play finals. Should be good stuff to watch

Powerhouse played a 6 'quarter' game and the first three quarters the scores were pretty even, although I believe Lyndale (SFL D3) kicked away by a couple in the end, not sure how many exactly.

In the second half (three periods) PHFC 8.13.61 def Lyndale 3.5.23.

So definitely didn't get a pasting.

If teams are not smashing SFL D3 clubs they will be lucky to play finals - SFL D3 is only just D4 level if that.....
