Do you think you'll see every club win a flag in your lifetime?

Depends on what you mean by see? I was alive for Collingwoods flag but I woulda had no chance of remembering it (I woulda been like 2 weeks old)

So if it's just been alive for, I've seen.

Collingwood, Hawthorn, West Coast, Essendon, Carlton, North, Adelaide, Brisbane, Sydney, Port Adelaide and Geelong.

Which leaves me with about 60-70 years to see the Dockers, Dogs, Tigers, Melbourne and St Kilda win a flag.

Not likely. :p

i'm in the same boat as you... plus there will be new teams coming in.

of the current teams you'd think all of them would win win a flag by 2050 but then... who knows.

i'm going to get with yes for the current teams, but not a particularly confident yes.

Well I was 2 in 1990 so I didn't really "experience" it.

But technically I guess I've been around when they've won.

Man that makes me feel old.

I can remember where the bbq was and what beer we drank that day, and trust me you didn't miss much, that game was crap.

Not sure I'll see a Melbourne or saints flag though

how many of those clubs will be around in 15 years? sort of unfair...

Saints and Tigers are a disgrace. no chance.

remember the Roo's flag in 99
and all since then - quite vividly

So thats
Crows

Still need to see
Saints - Losing culture, have my doubts tbh
Dogs - See saints
Tigers - Will see omne eventually
Freo - Nobody will ever see one
Carlton - Will see one
Hawthorn - Will see one soon
Melbourne - See St kilda

Add to that the new sides will be gifted flags to establish them

I was born in 1970 and all these sides have won flags in my lifetime:

Adelaide
Brisbane
Carlton
Collingwood
Essendon
Geelong
Hawthorn
North Melbourne
Port Adelaide
Richmond
Sydney Swans
West Coast

Got about 40-45 years for these clubs to do something.

Fremantle
Melbourne
St.Kilda
Western Bulldogs

I was born in 1990. So far 11 teams have won it, though I can only remember watching GF's from 1997 onwards.

1. Collingwood
2. Hawthorn
3. Eagles
4. Essendon
5. Carlton
6. Adelaide
7. Kangaroos
8. Brisbane
9. Port Adelaide
10. Sydney
11. Geelong

Richmond - Maybe
Bulldogs - They will win it this year
Saint Kilda - Not this generation of players
Melbourne - They will win it eventually
Freo - NEVER NEVER NEVER, no one will ever see that, same as Carlton

I was born in May 1968, not totally sold on Melbourne, St Kilda or the Dogs yet. Maybe the Dogs might win one in the next 20. I doubt St Kilda will, or Fremantle. I have not included the 17th, 18th or any other expansions.

I can tick them all except the Bulldogs and Freo. And I only just missed the Bulldogs be a couple of years.

I'm old !!!!

No way in the world mate. You will not see St Kilda or Freo win a flag. Melbourne and Richmond are iffy.

It'd be a shame if I didn't see Freo win one in my life time given what they've gone through as a club and the amount of shit they cop.

It will actually be rather bizarre seeing them win one.

It's obviously not impossible, I guess it depends how long I will live for. I would say yes if I live for another 60 years... if I only live another 30-40 than probably not.

I saw my club win the premiership 3 times before I even turned 12. Good times.

FWIW I reckon one of the new teams willl win the prem before Saints/Freo/Dees win another.
