So what was everyone’s favourite moment from the SF?
Duryea’s chase with Cameron is hard to go past.
Macrae’s goal had 2016 vibes.
Libba knocking it out to JJ who kicked long into the forward line, Hannan managing to scoop it up and get it to Baz and we all know what happened next.
VDM’s match-winning point.

What else?

Caleb's kick to Roarke in the dying seconds.

Loved Dunkley’s tackle tackle smother late in the game on the wing.

The Smith goal gets the hairs standing up on the back of my next and tingles up my spine just like the 2016 JJ-Bont goal against GWS.
They are Bulldogs moments in time that I will never forget and every time I watch them in future it will give me goose bumps.
Bailey injecting himself after that goal and Bont thumping the chest in 2016 seriously gets my Bulldogs heart pumping...
F#ck I love this team!

Weightman's goal was the first really big moment for us in my opinion. That's when I started to dream.

that is incorrect. The distance travelled zig zagging is irrelevant it is how far you travel in a straight line. He can back and forth 10m as many times as he wants without bouncing it. That was another descision that incorrectly went their way

That's a crock of shit. You can't run more than 15m without bouncing the ball. Simple as that.

At the time, I was yelling at the screen for him to bounce it.

I just watched the highlights package again and there was a moment in the first half when McLuggage tackled the Bont... They both fell backwards and McLuggage hit his head on the ground causing him to suffer concussion and have to leave the ground...
I'd be very surprised if our friends from Brisbane don't want the Bont reported for the incident.
Here's a screen shot of the incident where you can clearly see that the Bont has infringed...
What's everyone's thoughts on this incredibly biased umpiring travesty?

What the?

And that's Berry not McLuggage

I don't know why anyone seriously engages with the sooky lala umpiring nuffs on the main board. It's a losing battle, trying to discuss it logically with them. It's the same with conspiracy nutjobs. You can't change their minds. I'd recommend just mocking them and enjoying the tasty salt.
Thats exactly what i do.

There’s plenty but I just loved Macrae’s leadership to not only slot the goal, but then really pump us up and lift the energy and intensity of everyone else. We needed a spark and he provided it

I'd almost have to say it's the best game he's played, given the importance of his game, the goal he kicked and just the impact he had overall.

This needs to be officially explained by the AFL because the fans aren’t sure and the commentators think it’s a free every time. I remember Daniel doing exactly the same thing as Gardner earlier in year ( can’t remember which game ) and it was called play on and the commentators went off about it. Both times it was defender eyes on ball contact on ball first and incidental contact to player as a follow through. One was a free, one was play on. I just want to know what it is and then acknowledgement from AFL which decision was an error. It’s not hard. It’s not crucifying the umpire to acknowledge a mistake. There were 47 frees on the weekend - some were wrong, most were correct. But there were 168 clangers from the players. Everyone on the ground makes errors. I don’t see a problem with honest appraisal to shut up the bullshit conspiracy and cheating talk

Whatever the technical rule is i believe it should not be a free as the defender reaches the ball first and therefore the onus should be on the player arriving 2nd to avoid contact

Unpopular opinion, baz smith. Was ok. His kicking into F50 gives me the shits. The ice thing was a bit much

I like his aggressive attitude. We are a very solid citizen team that lacks a little flair at times.

His kicking was ok but his decisions were poor. Bailey Dale will not enjoy watching the tape of a few of his forward entries too.

Nice avatar btw.

Is this a pisstake? How can someone kick 3 match winning goals and have an ordinary game?
I thought he was worse than ordinary. He butchered the ball nearly every time he had it. One goal was as wobbly as they come, another came off his shin from point blank range.

Credit to him for sticking at it, his third goal was pure class and that’s the standards he should set himself if he wants to fulfil his potential.

I liked the ice in the veins celebration for the first 5 seconds, but when he continued engaging with the crowd and ignoring his teammates who ran to him to celebrate, I didn't like that look.

Put a stopwatch on the celebration, barely over 5 seconds. Montagna reckoned more than 30 seconds!!
It was a goal for the ages, worth celebrating. As long as he doesn't make a habit of it and cleans up his general delivery.
