Gutsy Gutsy win, just would not go away. There have been so many set backs this year if you think about injuries, having the bye stuffed up, extra quarantine. The club just keep finding a way and seem a very tight, mentally resilient group. A shame we had that 3 week patch late in the year where we lost our way, but that's been corrected now. The best 4 teams are left.

The umpire favoritism narrative being peddled by oppo supporters and some media is of course bull****, but it's just jealousy with a huge pinch of salt. Enjoy the hatred, it comes from a place of fear. Much prefer being hated and feared, than pitied.

Hughes has quickly gone from annoying voice, but tolerable, to a completely contemptible knob within 12 months. Fair effort.

As for Robinson, he's just a d*******. Plain and simple. Maybe his 'truths' are 'we had plenty of chances to put the Dogs away, we stuffed them up'? It's hothead loose cannons like Robinson and Heath Shaw before him that cost sides finals.

One thing that gets overlooked (mostly as a result of Qanon-level umpire conspiracies) is just how disciplined we are with frees and 50s. Usually if we give one at all it’s just down to a momentary lack of concentration, not thuggery. It really stands out on the rare occasions it happens.

It’s a big tick for Bevo and the coaching staff. We have so little of the ill-disciplined sh*t that some other clubs are plagued by.

You accept it and move on, and figure out what you can do within your own control to be better next time.

With our finals history absolutely saw Cameron disappearing with ball in hand for an easy out the back goal. Duryea was huge when the chips were down
