So AFL have two options to give us Sanders. Either Pre-List him. Or give us pick 11 to match a bid.

Either way we get him for free... pick 11 just makes it more complicated, and has potential for pick 14 to be watered down a pick or 2.

So we must have other trade plans if it's potential to match a bid and pick 11.

One thing they don't have is 2 pick positions before pick 4 though.

We can save GC a lot of points by not bidding on their academy boys at pick 2 or 3.

Or at 1 if we trade with WC. I reckon we would have Walter firmly on the list.

That’s a bit of a stretch. Teams lose players every year. Tarrant, Higgins and Goldstein were all well over 30 when leaving. They were all at the club for a long time and Higgins was a 3 club player. Our player retention has been incredible over the past couple of decades, considering we haven’t had much success.

Picks 1 and 19 this year and 11 next year would be fine. We wont need anything extra.
Easy trade into GC and GWS' picks for 1,3,4, 6 and 8

This is also my question. Is it after every team has had their 1st round pick or after every club who didn't make the 8 has had theirs? Huge difference....
