I would like RFC to put out a statement though, that they will let legal process follow due course and make a statement at that time, or something to that effect, last we heard is they will announce stuff last week, they need to update us and public of their intent, if they did this then should the police investigation go for another few weeks then they wouldnt look like they are sitting on it as such!

Dr Susie O’Brien is a columnist with the Herald Sun newspaper. She also writes two weekly columns for the Adelaide Advertiser, and her work is regularly used in the Courier Mail and the Daily Telegraph as well. She makes regular appearances on the Today show, Mornings, A Current Affair and Sunrise.
Susie has appeared on just about every news and current affairs show, including Today Tonight, Sky News, the Project and Studio 10.
With a PhD in Education from the University of Queensland, and three children - four if you count her husband. She is well known for writing about the death of her beloved dog, who was attacked by a runaway Staffy in her own kitchen, and for taking off her clothes to make a point about body image for the newspaper.

I find her article on Shorten a bit ironic considering she's already called for Martin to be suspended:

I am not defending Shorten — clearly he has done the wrong thing. But I do think the tone of some of the criticism smacks of hypocrisy.
Next time you are driving take a look at all the people around you talking on phones, and sitting at the traffic lights staring down into their laps instead of looking around them.
It’s endemic. In fact, in some studies 60 per cent of adults admit to texting or talking on the phone while driving.
Bill Shorten is not perfect, but nor is he the only one behaving in this way.
Indeed, the person who sent in the clip appeared to be using his own mobile phone while driving his car. So I hope he’s also going to talk to police. Why was he so obsessed about what Shorten was doing rather than watching the road himself?
As I say, there’s a lot of hypocrisy around on this one.
Let’s also keep this issue in perspective. A US study found that while mobile phones are a distraction, they don’t contribute significantly to car accidents or crashes.

Besides obrien's typically sensationalist opinion piece (coz she's a battler trying to make a name for herself), the rest of the media has gone very quiet on the whole story. Gee, I wonder why.
You can see how this is gonna go a mile away.
The cops will say they had differing accounts from witnesses, no charges will be laid, the club will say Dusty should have behaved better, respect for women etc, and then say he'll miss the first two practice games and make a $5000 donation to a women's cause of some sort .......and we'll be done.
Or something to that effect. Guarantee it.
