It's a BCCI coverage - you don't bite thee hand that feeds you - you are looking at the root of all the problems in world cricket right here and now.

Is that the same reason for no hawk eye?

For all the misgivings of Phil Hughes, Joe Root has been picked as a 22 year old, averaging 40.00 with 4 FC tons.

Phil Hughes has just turned 24, he averages 45, and has made 25 first class ton's, and 3 test centuries...........

It will take a special knock to make a ton here.

That Cook LBW was dead set idiotic. Fair enough to be compared to the Gatting one, wtf was that?

Takes a really special team to make me want England to win.

How much does Mr CricInfo sound like he is excited to be there

That's lunch. Some of the most unappealing cricket you will see. Low, slow pitch, Indians not trying to turn the ball, poor for stroke play. It's a can't-play-shots-can't-get-wickets pitch. And ironically, with India stacking their side up with four spinners, the wickets have fallen to a fast bowler and an umpire. Anyway, there is promise for after lunch. The ball has begun to reverse, so that might be a challenge. And KP is using his reach to turn balls into half-volleys, and is playing some unbelievable shots. We will be back around five minutes past noon

So whats a good score here?

220 above par?

Would reckon they'd still be after 300, but who knows how this deck will turn out. Nothing really turning atm, and there's a bit of reverse about. Seen wickets like this in Pakistan, thought the game would be over in 3 days, that turn out to be belters.

Really depends on how KP and Trott go after lunch. They could get rolled for 150 today.

Pretty sure Cricinfo commentators aren't at the ground, and just commentate from their offices in England and India.

England need a good root here..

On the BBC sport site a while back Agnew was talking about how he mentioned Joe Root to an Aussie cricket person and that the bloke couldn't stop cracking up and you could tell from the bemused way that he wrote it that he hadn't got a clue why.
