On a dime from new boy Brennan Johnson

Another goal to Sonny
The whole passage was Ange ball to a tee. From Vicario holding on to the ball until he could make a pass. To resisting the press playing out from the back. Then quick switch and lethal passing in and around the box.

I'm sort of the mindset that if Liverpool can't win the league, I wouldn't mind Spurs doing so, as much of my immediate family support them. It would make them very happy, and whilst it may be too early to call them contenders, would you write them off? I wouldn't.

It won’t matter when City inevitably string together 14 wins in 15 matches or something stupid like that.

I love how a lot of (professional, well paid and former high playing) pundits completely write Spurs off as fact.

They might not but we are hell in the dog fight right now

Just as an aside, maybe don't fully count out Aston Villa just yet, who have been scoring for fun lately. Maybe worth a bold outside bet?

True. I expect City to win it, but if by some miracle they don't, and Liverpool can't, I would not object to Spurs.

Same here, would be fabulous seeing pundits heads explode that an Australian manager won the PL and not someone from a traditional football nation.

I'm not even fussed by the Aussie angle (Pom here), I think it would make my dad and bro deliriously happy, though they'd probably drunk-text me about it all night if it happened!

about time Ayew got a yellow, been throwing to much weight around all game. Pleb
Game was set when the ref refused to issue card in the half for the 2 fouls raking down the back of the leg. Ref was terrible but still better than VAR.

Good teams though still win even when VAR make errors against you

Look at it this way, without VAR the goal still would have stood.

Got fouled 5 times himself.

Palace needed to get their goal 10 minutes earlier.

Bit panicky from Spurs in the end.
Commented with 20 to go that Spurs holding the lead was a recipe for us conceding. Came to fruition

The Romero > Vicario combo was just laughable at times today

I understand there can be a racial connotation. But Garnacho didn't mean it that way and Onana didn't take it that way. It will be like when Bernardo Silva compared Benjamin Mendy to the character on a packet of Conguitos. The FA will accept that it was meant as a joke between friends, with no racist intent, and none taken. Then ban him for a week and fine him £50,000.

If the claim is he meant it to signify strength why not use the strong arm emoji?

A Spurs title win would be great for the reputation of Straya in terms of the International community (Ange Ball) and also would tick off Gooner supporters.

Win - Win for me. Unfortunately the season. Is a marathon not a sprint, way too early to tell if they can be a serious threat for the league, we will find out by the the Christmas/New Year's fixtures are done and dusted.
