My opinion is that tackle deserves red on its own merit, with the penalty for DOGSO. i’ll listen for VAR audio.

Disappointing in the end not to win it. We battered City in the second half. Virg pocketed Haaland as usual.
If only Lucho finished one of the plethora of chances that came his way. Would have love Jota available today, he would have slotted one.
Thought the subs were interesting. Klopp taking off Nunez was wild and then Pep was like yeah well I'll take of KDB, insanity.
But we take the point, always difficult to come back after going behind against City so a really good performance, particularly the second half without the result we wanted.
Think City do Arsenal next week though so we have a chance to go back top!

Doesnt have a great record against VVD that's for sure. IIRC didnt he mention VVD as his toughest opponent in an interview once.

Thread hard to read again during the game thanks to one person, a real shame.
Really great game, didn’t quite reach the pure quality of previous title chasing encounters, but was just as entertaining. Both sides had periods where they were on top but I think Liverpool will probably be the most disappointed in the end. This rivalry has been a pleasure to watch and that was a fitting finale.

Quality. Sometimes high pressure games cause mistakes by very good players.
Liverpool had the best of the play. Mac Allister and Elliot were outstanding in midfield. But another great game by Rodri. We take him for granted but his influence on games is massive. The shots on target won't include the one that came off Foden's head onto the bar or Doku's shot that hit the post.
City are currently not getting the best out of Haaland.

Didn't watch the game, frankly I was too nervous. I figure a draw is about right, from what I've heard. I do wish we had a striker of Mane or Firmino's confidence on our books.

Saw the last incident. Firstly terrible acting from the Liverpool guy contact was minimal and light it there was any so not a fan of that. However a high boot like that is generally a foul anywhere else on the pitch, so if I was referee I’d probably have given it. Happy that VAR didn’t get involved though.

Kovacic on was fine, but take like the GK off before KDB. That was crazy but hey I was glad to see the back of him.
