Good work, and my sentiments too, but Happy Clapper has a better chance of beating Winx at her next start than that post has of staying up.

;)
He’s a fat drunk duffle coat wearing dullard with a self serving agenda and should be called out on it.

As for Happy Clapper, I do love a long shot but a cheeky lobster 🦞 on Ringerdingding at $50’s is more my go.

Ringerdingding got up yesterday, watch out Winx

I guess that is the advantage of being older, getting to see us beat * in a GF, beat collingwood three times and Richmond twice before turning 21.
Oh I wish for those days of success again.
I've seen 8 grand final wins. Its great. But what is much better is being a chance. Going to games and seeing good football week in week out is much more enjoyment than the actual after the GF siren is gone. Its all about the game and games.
As soon as its done its all about next year.
Truly it's very little comfort to have been there in history after so long not being a really decent side.

I started following the Blues in 85 as a 6 year old. Obviously missed out in the late 60's, 70's and early 80's. But remember 87 and 95 and I went to the qualifying final 93 and elimination final in 2011 against the Bombers. They were great night/days but this would not compare to beating them in a grand final.

Still puts a smile on my dial, being a bagger through the 70's and 80's. Poyntens for lunch pre game, tram up Royal Parade. Usually great footy and a win.
After match session at the Lemon tree, Johnny's green, room or one of numerous other pubs around Carlton, Nth Melbourne. Late night Souva at the Twins. Grand finals were a bonus but that regular Saturday night swagger (stagger) was gold. I live for the day, and its not too far away... the Blue Tsunami is coming

I have seen 8 as well and yes I totally agree, a competitive side week in week out, going to games without that fear of is a hiding on the cards today is a great feeling. Hopefully that time for us us close again, I dont think we are that far away, despite no wins so far this year.

After a big day and night in 1970 myself and a few mates got thrown out of all those joints in the same night, and you can add Stewarts and the University Hotels as well. No kidding.

'Everything is breaking down': AFL great slams Bombers performance

Flog Watson wants to get Hird back for a second (third?) go.

The * love for Hird after the destruction he caused absolutely bamboozles me.

And Hird has to be the greatest self promoter in the history of the universe.

Hird was never a businessman.

He was a pet puppy for David Evans and his friends, who threw him a bone now and then so long as he rolled over and let them scratch his tummy.

The moment Hird betrayed Evans, his "business career" was over. No more gifts.

Seems most businesses deals Hird got involved in ended up in serious tears from the other parties.

Not unlike his coaching career.

What was the famous quote from the press conference.... " I'm shocked to be sitting here"

I mean really ? Or just shocked to be caught.

Hirst got off very lightly in my opinion, his players on the other hand and running around with who knows what in their bodies with unknown side effects.

Not publicised but all players effected are getting lifetime testing and health monitoring by AFL.

Hird said he couldn’t wait for the “truth to come out”.

I’m still waiting.......
