Had a look at the Collingwood board and they are actually discussing footy as opposed to dwelling on the saga. Different to the last two weeks vs Carlton and Hawthorn.

I'm not surprised. Carlton and Hawthorn are on a whole other level.

Jerrett's a preferable sub to hams & zakka, but I'd rather have Zak. I feel like Natalie Imbruglia -- torn.

Sorry.
Good song. Underrated.

You guys are screwed if we decide to unleash Moore on you. The boy is a metronome
Some Pies supporters are convinced he has been named as an emergency with the intention of being a late inclusion.

Who would miss to bring him in?

Never hear a person called a metronome before..... he must perform like clockwork huh?

Fairly sure you're right, there were. It was turnover city for him and he looked about a week behind the pace of the game, getting caught htb at least once or twice

I think Dempsey that day was trying to do too much. Rather than just dispose of the ball as required, he was trying to have a bigger impact, which led to him trying to do too much and hanging on to it too long. I think that is a natural consequence of coming on as a sub. Probably will happen again if he is sub. Whereas a young player like Hams is much more likely to just do the minimum required to "not stuff up".
For what it's worth, I think Gleeson tends to do the same thing a lot, and needs to find a balance between just quick, short possessions, and being a run and carry impact player. Potentially, he is the latter, and that would be great, but until he is more established, he needs to maybe just bite off a bit less.

Dempsey running the extra meter, back healing the ball over his head and taking somebody on can also be a positive. Sides don't expect it and you can catch them out.

Gleeson's run also makes us a better side. Makes the opposition chase him.

Colyer the same. I remember people complaining about him running too far last season and saying that he should just kick it.

Dalgleish did similar in NAB challenge. An opponent was a whisker away from tackling him when he sprinted, ran the length of the field and goaled. It inspired the whole team to a win.

It's tough to see anybody from the backline getting dropped. I think it's conceivable that Gault might go for him but unlikely since Moore has been playing defence in the VFL. If Gault goes out it will probably be for Witts who when fit should be our no 1 ruck.

Just hope Coons can play in it next year. We could get smashed, dunno, but really looking forward to this year.
