Too bad Sydney can't ask for the sprinklers to be on a couple of hours before the game.

Edihad is usually watered before a game, I went to a function a few hours before a Ess v Haw game and looked out over the ground to see the ground staff mower the ground then turn the sprinklers on and they were on for quite a while, I asked one of the ground staff if that was normal or were they doing it because they knew Essendon doesn't like the rain, he just laughed and said it was normal.

Given how dry and ratty it looked last weekend, it probably needs a good water and some UVs.

"We have barely played them in Melbourne" sounds like an excuse when we haven't exactly beaten them anywhere.

It’s also a statement of fact, 3 h&a games out of the last 14 in Melbourne. You’re reading too much into it.

Be interesting to see how they replace Mckernan

Does Hooker go forward and we bring in Francis down back

Or do we bring in the undeserving but most similar reppacement in J.Stewart and keep Hooker back.

Is Hurley capable of playing on and doing the job on Buddy?

Until he is actually in the side , I've given up on Francis playing.
I don't think Stewart deserves his spot but I think this is the route Woosha takes. I'd personally go with Hooker forward, Hartley back.

In : McKenna, Stewart.
Out : McKernan, Colyer.

Frankenstein was the doctor. his arseh*le was fine.

Frankensteins arseh*le is more well put together than our fwdline.

Tbf I'd say Frankenstein's monster's arseh*le was also fine and fully in tact. I don't think it'd make sense for that to be the place you'd choose to separate and re-stitch the constituent body parts.

Cmon guys it's like you haven't even thought about this properly

That's bloody disgusting. He's a champion and has torn us apart many times over those 8 years. One our way isn't too much to ask is it buddy?

Frankenstein and Buddy both have experience at tearing new arseholes.

Half our team haven't played them. You think Devon is worried about past games he wasn't involved in? Saad? Stringer? Guelfi? McGrath? McNiece? We have learned to win. Swans aren't the team they have been, heck the Suns beat them in Sydney. I think we win at home. 25 points. There I said it.

By half our team you mean 2 players haven't played them. Guelfi and McNiece.

I think he means “ in an Essendon jumper”.

Anyway, would love a win against the Swans, tired of them always dusting us up. The fact that Woosha is 0-6 against Horse doesn’t necessarily fill me with confidence though ..

We have not beaten a Buddy Franklin team since 2010.

8 years!

It's a big concern that we don't have Ambrose. If Buddy can be stifled it's only by players who can run with him who then get support from others.

While I want Stewart in the side, the better move is probably Hartley for this week. Not only of he much improved, I wouldn't want for Hurley to be the only guy we could play on Buddy.

We don't even ask Hooker to do it anymore.

Buddy broke the game open on Ambrose off one leg last time.
