Your post confuses me a bit.

I was referring to the process where those who get GF tickets (but can't go) can out them back in for resale. Those who missed out on tickets can then re-enter barcodes for a second chance for tickets.

Actually just re-read it you're spot on. Just a normal sales process, not a ballot.

Although it's limited to those who were unsuccessful the first time round (or those who didn't apply at all.

Pretty sure all tickets need to be picked up from an outlet.

In 2006 I was very back row of the top tier and I loved every minute of it. I can't believe you would give up tickets to be there.

I checked last night and there were still packages left with a group called premium seats which is who I purchased my tickets through.

I purchased from them due to this information, I don't want to tell the crazy price I paid. GOOD SEAT THOUGH!

I enquired about the prices so I know how much hurt you must be feeling but at least you don't have to worry about finding tickets. I couldn't justify those prices especially when one of the packages was $1.6k and only had a cat 6 ticket plus a breakfast. For that price I would expect to be served by Miranda Kerr and the Victoria Secret Angels.


I think any package over $1k with cat 6 seats is an absolute rip off. I rather pay a 'reseller' $500-$600 and get better seats. Although dealing with resellers is a pain in the ass.

I bought it way back in April so I've had most of the season to pay for it. No way did I ever think that we might be a chance of making it to the GF. Serendipity.
