I think the AFL would be over the moon if that were the case.
However, North won't be going anywhere.
They just like to play anywhere and reduce the number of games their dwindling fan base can attend.

Not sure whether this belongs here but I was wondering how POTY rundown is decided when two or more players are tied on the same number of votes in a given week.

For example, Andrews and Lester are currently tied for second (96 votes each) in the Lions v Bombers Review thread

It could change of course but if they remain tied, who gets 4 and who gets 3?

So what I do is the tied players get the same number of votes but the next player with the most votes skips the next vote rung.

So in your example (I see Harris has currently slipped one vote ahead!) it would Joe with 5, Lester and Andrews each with 4, Neale with 2 and Will with 1. This would mean that there are still only five players getting votes.

If there are two players tied for the 1 vote, they will both end up with a vote and six players get votes for that game.

I may be imagining this but didn't the Lions sign an agreement with the AFL that would see them playing the majority of their Melbourne-based away games at Docklands, not long after the ground was opened? I seem to recall the club saying that Docklands would be the club's home ground in Melbourne, or words to that effect.

Assuming this is right, I've no idea if the agreement would still be in effect, just putting it out there as a possible reason/explanation.
