I think this is pretty close but I'd put Dawson on the bench, drop Josh Daicos and bring in a genuine back flanker

I know its almost tradition now, but why pick actual wingers but them on the bench?

Dawson is having an amazing year in the midfield. Makes no sense to be in the backline

Is by far the leading centre clearance winner and top 3 for clearances and contested possessions.

Don't think his uncontested ball has been as good previous years but still a contested beast
Our low possession game style and the addition of Dunkley is costing him. Don't think he'll care if we win the premiership though

That doesn’t make sense to me.

Even with the bus stopping every stop from Griffith to the city, it would be no more than half an hour.

I don’t know where you live, but if you’re driving to a train station and parking your car, wouldn’t you be better off driving somewhere close to Griffith and parking, or parking one or two stops from the Griffith, and only catching the bus a short distance.

There's that bracing walk up the hill. Great way to get the heat rate up before the game starts.

I would expect the buses to be dropping people off at different locations around the stadium, rather than everyone getting off the bus and crossing Mains Road.

There are three separate car parks on the east side of the stadium, near nissan arena where buses could drop fans off, and two more car parks on the west side, near the secondary athletics track.

And there's parking in Griffith uni that could be used. I'm sure they will see the money making potential in that.

Said a few months back that footy needs a "Bazball" equivalent to break out of its current tactical and philosophical funk. Wish Fages had picked McCullum's brain while he was playing at the Gabba.

Wonder if Ross Lyon has been talking to Khawaja?

Whether they win or we win at the end of this Test, no one will care how you did it, whether you scored at six an over, whether you scored at three an over.

I've seen our forward line set up like that.

The problem is then that all six run in to the same place to try to take the catch.

appears Rohan pushes a Port player into Danger
It looks Rohan turned semi-deliberately to ride the push into bumping the player with his hip too...

Our underwhelming response to Moty's Rising Star nomination is no surprise to me. I think we have finally learned that in the scheme of things The Rising Star award is meaningless and means SFA.

Anyhow well done Willmot for playing 14 consecutive games at a level ensuring he keeps his spot and is contributing to the results we have achieved. Let other team boards have shit fights over the nominations.

However, if Fletcher does not get one the selectors are w***ers and know nothing about football.;)

Rising star noms are nice little fillips when you're losing most weeks - it's a glimmer on the horizon for supporters. But when your aim is finals it's just noise really.

I'm happy for Motty (it's probably a nice acknowledgement early in your career) and probably thought it might have come a few weeks earlier. But I remember when I was 18 asking my uncle who was going to win the Rising Star award and he considered me for a few seconds and calmly asked "who the **** really cares?" - that's always stayed with me.

Lewis Taylor >>>>> .... Marcus Bontempelli.

Nice to see both of you preparing yourselves for when Ashcroft doesn’t win the Rising Star award.

To be brutally honest, I think the same thing about the Brownlow. I'm generally much more interested in the Norm Smith Medallist.
