I have actually just noticed that with my new $2.50 Kayo subscription all 3 of the more recent Lions premierships 01, 02 and 03 are all available to watch.

Shane Morrison playing for the Lions too in one of his few games for us. Set up Voss nicely for a goal earlier too.

Love seeing our brutish backline of the Scott brothers, Johnson, Leppa and Michael in full flight with a young Ash McGrath in the back pocket.

Voss has just been bull up forward.

My sons observation is that the players are all men and there aren’t the kids out there that we see on field today.

Correct. Morrison was probably our youngest player (or possibly Ash McGrath or Charman who we’re both established players) on that night and even then he’d been around for 3 years or so on the list. Same goes for North in this game.

I think it will become common again if list sizes are reduced to 35.

We have the highest level of liabilities out of any club in the league, which is a little worrying in these economic times. Does anyone know what this is composed of? Is it mostly debt to fund Springfield? Or is it from making operating losses every year and having to borrow to cover them?

I looked it up, we only contributed $10 million to Springfield. Our liabilities are chiefly due to 12 years of losses. Amazing that we managed to lose $3.5 million in 2013 alone.

So has Goodes, twice over in the case of the Brownlow.

Black was one of the greats at what he did. Goodes was one of the greats at just about everything.
