Continued in Part 2

My Son is playing his grand final this weekend for the Southport sharks in the under 12 Div 1.
What has been brilliant this week is they had Bachar Houli, Eddie Betts, Jarrod Witts and Patty Dangerfield all taken the time to record good luck video messages to the team. Then at tonight’s final training session 3 players from Geelong who are staying at the Sharks for their hub came down to talk to the boys about playing in finals.A big thank you to Oscar Brownless, Jordan Clark and Darcy Fort for the talk to the boys. All the boys were rapt that AFL players wished them luck.
This is what is great about our game and I thought I should highlight a positive thing. Cmon Sharkies

I hated the Sharks as a junior (carn the Dees!), But this is an awesome story to share. Would have meant a heap to all the kids. Good luck to your son!

My son played for the Sharks many moons ago, so go young Sharks:thumbsu:

Played for the Sharks as a kid too. Back when it was at the old ground.

I remember we always took the chocolates against Surfers Nunez :D

Haha I was lucky that when I played we were having a great run against the Sharks, even beating them in a prelim (before getting flogged in the GF as a bunch of our players were sick :( ).

Tigers v Saints. You would think Richmond will win this one
This may give Saints fans a little hope

Below taken from a SEN article
"Brett Ratten has an incredible coaching record against Richmond winning 10 of 11 games, including a 26-point victory in Round 4.
Ratten has never lost a game as coach against Damien Hardwick, winning all seven previous meetings."

But surely the kids aren't in the bubble. Isn't that an issue per the AFLs rules?

Nope, pretty sure that's fine if it's an AFL sanctioned appearance and they keep their distance.

Saw footage of Gil (CEO, in bubble) and Voss (coach, in bubble) showing up to a kids coach's 1000th game in Brisbane so that bears that out.

Got the win 40-25 proud as punch. Well done boys.Go Sharks
Yer, my grandson won his Grand Final today too Under 12 Div2, went through the season undefeated with a percentage of 672%, should have been in Div 1 like they were last year, must have been some sort of stuff up with the gradings.

Thoughts on this clash jumper I designed? Not a fan of our current white clash and was wondering how a blue clash would look. Unfortunately I couldn't add the Lion below the Chevron like I wanted but otherwise this was the look I was going for.

Any wonder Essendon find themselves in this position. Their self rightous thinking is totally screwed up...still. Article in HUN by father of James Hird says they were betrayed..

Former Chairman David Evans is being blamed for telling the AFL to investigate what was going on at the club which brought about the supplements scandal. The man just wanted the club to be sorted out is my take from the article...he certainly seems more honest than the Hirds way of thinking. Apparently should've stayed silent for them to get on with the drugs program...

Another reason bringing James Hird back to the club is not a good idea if they are fair dinkum about rebuilding. Would just be going back to nowhere again...

....mind you, I couldn't care less really. They can rot for all I care.
