Would be my ideal backline, with Ellis playing further up the ground. Hopefully Griffiths builds his tank and can improve his offensive game, he only needs to push up to the wing to be able to kick it to the goal square.

edit: Batch is 188. Fair enough then. I liked it too, but was convinced Batch was 190-192. Makes his effort on Hurley even more superb.

He is a gun, should hopefully play every game next year, adds so much versatility

Yea, it might be a bit tall but a lot of those guys a quite versatile. Grimes, Rance and even Griffiths have shown they can play on smaller opponents. Chaplin will probably take the FF each week and Morris/Houli to take a small, then the rest take everything in between.

Dunno. Obviously it depends on whether he nominates us etc. If/when clubs miss out on Caddy they may look around too.
Ebert went to Port last year effectively for pick 28 and has been fabulous for them.

I think pick 29 would likely get us Thomas and Jacobs.
Whispers continue of Gus to Port. Who knows.

The rumour going around is Graham is heading to SA. Port need a ruck. This makes sense. But I do see your point

Port are not desperate for Rucks. They will back Renouf, Lobbe and Redden. If Graham is SA bound I would have thought the Crows would be more in need for a backup for Jacobs.

We are not spoilt with choices here in SA. It is either crap talk from MMM or the geezers on 5AA.
Both stations Adelaide Cow 100% bias with 5AA a tad in front in the bias stakes!
