If you have never done a Footy pre-season before and you're plucked out of nowhere, and all it takes is four games for you to be taken in the top 20 18 year old footballers in the country then you must have considerable talent. The Fyfe comparisons are well and truly apt, plus he has the added bonus of some speed and being a lovely left foot kick of the footy. All the traits he has are super complimentary too: speed with good kicking ability, and a great leap with one grab marking ability. His low endurance base should rise relatively quickly as he hasn't done a pre-season before. We should temper our expectations though. After all, Crozier had a similar player profile.

Pretty shit example given we didn't have a pick, and West Coast's only pick was used on another WA player (Sheed).

Funnily enough, that draft we went for a Melbourne kid over Lobb. And Alex Pearce for that matter, who was 20 odd picks later.
That Melbourne kid was just delisted.

Oh well ffs you can pick another example then. Was Sean Darcy not a steal under the nose of Victorian clubs? Luke Ryan as a mature ager? Should we not have taken lachie Neale at the time we drafted him because he’s south Australian, and what would a western Australian team know?

In terms of lobb, you literally just contradicted your arguement. A Sydney team managed to get lobb from under our nose. What point are you trying to make?

Fyfe with wheels and a lethal left boot is the GOAT IMO. Probably a bit much to ask.
