The same facebook page does link Gumby to Fremantle, Carlton, Bulldogs and Melbourne. Yet in the real world, sans Facebook, Essendon say they have received no offers

"Linked to" doesn't mean 4 formal offers have been presented, it means that they've asked about him.

If we used it we would have to delist like three more players.
I was talking more about how many picks we choose to have than what we can get there. We may have 4 picks in the ND or we may go 3 and PSD or 3 who knows. We may give up 1 of the picks we have for someone and therefore we may need 58. It depends on how things play out. IF it is of value we would probably take it otherwise we may let it slide.

yeah, it's a shit pick for roberton. do we have to deal with collingwood? can we still look at other options?
He means clubs bagging Collingwood's drafting methods are just jelly, essentially.

If WCE get more for Stevens than we do for Roberton, I'll spew.
I hardly ever notice Stevens when he plays for the Sharks. Roberton was fantastic this year when he played for the Royals.
They are the same age, Roberton is proven at AFL level, Stevens is not.

That's the question. We will probably be able to do a better deal if there is other interest. Knowing Bondy it will be some obscure deal involving 12 clubs

the more i listen to trade week radio, the more i think the whole "superdraft" this year is a myth. Scott Lucas was saying again today that the depth falls away pretty quickly after pick 20.... i guess you could say that each year though

whats your thoughts on Laine? I coached him in juniors, you could tell from back then that he was going to be a great athlete.. runs like the wind, jumps over small buildings and has great skills... unfortunately he is a flanker/wingman.... the one year we probably wont select a player of his ilk
