Umpires had nothing to do with the 83 pointsOne thing i will say in the Cats defence - re the annihilation we copped
Not taking anything away from Melb - they played superbly
However i heard John Worsfold this year - he said when your coaching a decent/good side - one game per year normally - everything and anything goes wrong - you just have a dirty game
Even though Geel were badly outplayed - that is exactly what happened to Geel last night - the free kick against Holmes ( Melb goal ) the Melb bloke fell over in front of him - a really top line umpire wouldnt have paid that - . The over the shoulder free to Gawn - how technical was that - Melb goal
The 50 against Joel - the reversal of the kick re Close
Everything that could go wrong went wrong - it was a nightmare - Geel got a good run with the umps against GWS last week - they didnt even get scraps off the umpires last night
It was like the umpires saying - your cooked and got no hope - and you are getting absolutely nothing from us
