Not sure if it's already been posted..
Good GF preview show with Pickering, Sean Simpson and Stokesy
Maybe they opened as favourites. I don't think we went into any of those 4 GFs with the odds against us on the day though.Idont think Geelong opened favourite at the start of GF week
However i can remember that Glen Munsie ( betting agent - but with an NRL background ) saying on Sky Racing Channel saying all the money is for Geel - they beat them by 96 a few weeks ago - thats good form etc - and the money has come for them in a big way
Lauren Arnell is an AFLW player for the Lions. Peter Ryan is a journo for the age. They've had a female presence in recent years. It's not much different to previous years. Compared to previous years, only issue I see with it is that there's no one on it who's had recent involvement with the AFL (men's) competition. Matthews and Blight are the former coaches/players but both a long time out of either caper, then there are two journos, and then a female comp player. Usually you have someone, either a player or coach, on there who is still or has recently been involved with the comp, and I would think that perspective would be important. But I don't suppose it matters too much.
Wouldn't mind seeing Tuohy shoulder-to-shoulder with Martin. Has the strength and know-how. Martin doesn't have a big engine, so that shouldn't be an issue. And he isn't a player who copes with taggers. Curtailing his influence will go a long way to a victory.
PLEASE DON'T RAIN. P L E A S E.
Agree. However, the votes are required immediately following the game. A big ask. There was a time those media people were asked to submit them before the game had ended. Not sure whether that still applies.Simple impartiality, currency and efficiency would be to go umpires votes.

Just watched a clip on YT of someone simulating the game on AFL Evolution 2, and had it pissing down rain all game.
We ended up winning by 2 goals with Gaz kicking the sealer. Wouldn't mind that happening in the real game either.
We’re stuffed. Going to rain cats and dogs. Bloody hell!

I've had that dream. Nankervis steps over the mark, and Kolo gets to kick it 10 metres out in front, and....we win.
