I am the Bruest info guy and it pisses me off all this unfounded speculation about him. You will all be the first to know when something real happens with him. Btw, he hurt his hip in r22/23 last year and its still giving him some grief. A bit of a concern with the off season rest not doing much for him.

Yep, I'm sure having Anthea around isn't helping either

Essendon rookie Yestin Eades has been stood down by the club indefinitely following an alleged incident which is “currently before the Courts”

Why did they re-rookie Eades after already cutting him, when they knew of some kind of incident?
Worse than they thought perhaps?
Maybe still not up to it off field?

Must have been hanging out with Michael Hurley.

That's not good news at all.

It always makes me laugh how football clubs are very willing to impart discipline when it comes to number 64 draft picks.
Rookie pick:
"We sat down with the bloke and mutually decided that in light of the off-field actions, the best course of action would be for him to stand down effective immediately. We consider the magnitude and nature of the charges very seriously, and though he's yet to face court, we think it's best for his focus to be directed towards these charges at this time."
1st round pick:
"We're dedicated to help as much as possible as he works through this very difficult time. Since the charges have not yet been substantiated, we are careful not to sway the course of justice by making premature reactions, and ask that he and his family be given due privacy in at this time."

Agree. I wish people would stop talking about trading Breust :straining:
I'd rather have Breust anyway to be honest. Reminds me of post 08 when a lot of people wanted Roughead to permanently play in the backline, once you've got a monster forward line that's an advantage you have over the 10 or so clubs that always have talented midfields, let's build with what we've got and not be desperate to trade our best.

But pick 64 was better than our first round pick this year

Might help to explain his miss in the dogs final from straight in front.

Wonder what our compensation would be if Breust did depart as a free agent? 3 x Premiership player and an All Australian... that would probably equate to a pick in the 40's for us no doubt

Depends on our ladder position.

We'll get nada as we'll be picking up a FA.

It's tied to salary and length of contract isn't it?
