One of his great skills that got us to four premierships was his innovation, keeping us "ahead of the curve". We showed very little of that during the last three years of his tenure and it certainly doesn't look like he's brought it to North. Whether it's drafting, trading, game style or player positioning he's clearly not the coach he was ten years ago.

They are/were expecting Clarko 2004-2015 .......they've got Clarko 2017-2022 .

Looks like some concern now really creeping in .

With how long and expensive his contract his can they even afford to sack him and pay someone else?

I know the coach plays a big part but some of North’s troubles has been the complete lack of support around the coach which is why they’ve burned through so many. It was always going to be an uphill battle for them to contain Clarko.

Personally, it says far more about the resilience of our team than the ineptitude of theirs.

But they were seriously awful yesterday, especially in the last quarter.

I think it’s a little of both our bounce back was gold standard but theirs is well below what an AFL team should be showing.
