Our efforts against the Doggies are starting to look even more impressive with hindsight. They are capable of some really good footy.

Doggies really slaughtering Melbourne at Etihad. Can the Dees recover for next week?

If they beat Carlton next Sunday - the Blues get the spoon and we get pick 5.

Get around the Dees everyone!!

Was just watching some of the women's game on 7. I think a national league is a great idea in general, and I mean no offence to the girls out there who are at the top of their sport nationally... but jeez it is an atrocious spectacle. Around the level of my local under 15s. If a national league is to get off the ground, surely they will need sponsors and therefore viewers? But I just can't see that happening.

That said would like to see the Saints establish the side, given we're already at the forefront of involving women in AFL, but only if it doesn't cost us a cent.
To be fair though, they're pretty much amateurs AFAIK, if footy was a full time job for them as it is for the men playing AFL, you'd likely see the skill level go through the roof

I'm looking at a perfect round of tipping, and luckily I put my money where my mouth was! Juicy $18 for what I thought was a pretty easy round of picks.

if eagles win I drop GWS only since I coin flipped that one as I figured it'd be more down to chance than any of the other matches of the round, 14 points off the margin (25) since I figured it was between 2 and 4 goals and then didn't revise down when Buddy piked it, and Ross lead sides generallydrop a match sometime last week this week or next in the lead in to finals, it seems to be his thing and West Coast have surprised a few with some performances and seem to play well when severely understaffed.

I however don't gamble, so I simply fist pumped that I trusted a coin because both of Port and GWS hold no faith with me whatsoever and they should both be ashamed.

Yeah that was a flip of the coin but I just can't trust GWS away from home yet. Like two different teams.

I figured one team would jump out of the blocks and lead by 6ish goals at half time, after half time the other mob will come out and get within a goal and from there someone will screw the pooch and either gift the win to the opposition or someone will prematurely ejaculate on offense and the comeback will stall. If Port lead, I didn't trust them to hold on because they go to water when challenged, if GWS were leading I don't trust them to hold on because they will inexplicably forget whee the goals are and wander around aimlessly. I do trust Port to overrun teams though, so when Port was leading at half time, I was happy in my choice, my issue was that GWS decided to stop overrunning them and Port took the opportunity to break away like the soft bullies they are this year.

Also, eat it Freo, and West Coast need to buy a defender who doesn't want to emulate a hypochondriac and in-explicitly get injured on a baked potato.

Melbourne board losing it and rightly so. Not fair that they have had to put up with almost 10 years of this garbage. They have lost at Etihad 22 times in a row now, that is just complete and utter dog shit. Paul Roos, most overrated bloke in footy.

Seems the supporters are not buying into the "we are much better since I took the reins" fallacy. As one poster rightly pointed out, they are just as bad it just so happens a few teams have capitulated around them (e.g. Bombers & Carlton). This is one hot mess of a club, any clown that thinks they are further ahead in a rebuild is a clueless twat.

As far as you can judge coaches by their media efforts, Roos is just so underwhelming.

Speaks entirely in cliches, completely emotionless, and largely lacking in insight.

If that's any insight into the man as a coach, it's no wonder his team is seriously struggling.

Maybe it really was all Ross Lyon up there in Sydney.

Yes. Carltank will make sure they win the Weitering cup.

Well, if Melbourne win that would be their first win at etihad since 2007... Some win...

More thinking of Some loss......
What a challenge Carltank face making it look like they are trying while having players out of position and dropping a few others.

As much as I don't like Jamie Cripps, I feel so bad for the guy, fractured jaw from such a low and cowardly act from that campaigner Silvagni. I'm in the same boat as Lingy, if he gets rubbed out for the rest of the season, I wouldn't care. What an absolute dickhead.

Not to mention your team just beat the minor premiers (they will be) and you're looking like one of 2 or 3 form sides of the comp in top 2 contention. That would be a shit time to get a broken jaw.

Weak as piss from Silvagni.
I might start booing him every match now

You're just hating because he's named after a bakery in Tassie, I might send an anonymous tip tot he news paper about how you're racist towards wheat!

But yeah, if Silvagni does not get the book thrown at him considering it was behind play, high impact, and intentional then I dunno what constitutes having the book thrown at someone, maybe giving a root canal on field with your screw in stops?

I believe if someone breaks a jaw, etc, then the hitter should be allowed to play when the victim can play. Think of Barry Hall's dog hit on Brent Staker. Hall got 7 weeks but was playing football before Staker.
