Exactly.
If they do that we should agree with GC that we will send Lang to PSD for GC to take if they deal Ablett cheap, which should make carl offer something decent.

Exactly.
Fun fact: pick 58 averages 39 AFL games. About how many more I say Lang has in him.what will be getting for him? Be a heck of a something a p58 in a thin draft to replace a 21 year old R1 pick.
Reckon we could have done a little more to convince him to stay. The old, "we'll offer you a new contract if you decide you want to stay" is hardly shouting out that you want him to play for you.
Cheers. I wasn't aware he wanted to be traded.......I was under the impression it was being forced on him
Lang was the last hope in terms of players.
What if a part of contract negotiations were assurances of play time, assurances we couldn’t or didn’t give?
But apparently we want him to stay
Exactly I was reading all year about how he'd have to wait until the end of the year to see what we were bringing in and what we needed to trade out.Reckon we could have done a little more to convince him to stay. The old, "we'll offer you a new contract if you decide you want to stay" is hardly shouting out that you want him to play for you.
Without wanting to run the risk of another cynical scathing rebuke I personally don’t have him in our best side. Not convinced the club does either.I'm surprised the club doesn't have more confidence in him to give him those assurances. I think he deserves a decent run at it assuming he's fit.
I rate him highly. I still draw on his final against Sydney as his true potential. It’s crap isn’t it ?
I wish he was staying
Fun fact #2:
Dane Swan, 5-time AA, Brownlow Medallist was taken pick 58.
Other decent picks 58 were Ben Hudson, James Podsiadly and Lachie Neale.
If lang to carlton i reckon we're gonna give up 22 and get 37 back. Yuck
I’ve got no info on that. My guess is 35 is involved. Maybe a swap too. What picks you reckon for Ablett.
One in 31 (about 3%).what odds would you like for us to pick a Brownlow medalist with P58?... I wonder what the game average for that pick would be?
mmm I know CE thinks he will not play a 100 games total... just how many games will we get out of P58 I wonder... maybe we can find another Menegola... ?
In the end... this is the consequence of bringing players ... he rightly say ..where do I fit...
One in 31 (about 3%).
Game average is 39.
3% was the Brownlow (Swan).so 3% of the time..a club picks a player that plays 31 games?
i read it as there is a 3% chance of a club picking a Brownlow medalist with that pickso 3% of the time..a club picks a player that plays 31 games?
3% was the Brownlow (Swan).
39 is the average number of games for pick 58.
