Excited about next year already. A big improvement to our midfield-it's going to be great watching Ablett run around with dangerwood, Duncan and co.

We'll contend for a season or 2 and then fall of a cliff IMO

Gold Coast want a player that wanted them...something that is rare..let alone a player of his quality. Then add Gold Coast had to either trade for him with a 2018 pick next year... or let him go to PSD. They basically are saying we would rather trade P2 this year rather than next year. And they get PnP 100-200 game player.

No it's not, you can't look at it from a points perspective. We coulve given up 35 this year whilst keeping 19 (much better chance of getting a good player ina limited draft) as well as keeping our R2 next year in a much stronger draft, which also helps us with potential F/Ss.

Which ever way you or anyone justify it, we got absolutely reamed and Wells bent over and took it (once again) without the lube.

Wells needs to be locked up during trade time and released for the one thing he does well - the draft.

Poor trading. 2/10.

We gave up MUCH MORE than we needed to. Hodge went for 75.

Points are the most overhyped term used in drafting and trading.

Weller is a gun but they should have got a bit better than 41 back

He's not a gun yet - may get there but he's a mile behind Blakeley for instance
Averages just on 20 touches , query I have is on the hurt factor TBH
At least he'll get the chance to prove himself at GC
