Bloody hell.
I was just looking at the spreadsheet above and saw how many points GWS has?

Which club will find the key and unlock access to some of that?
They haven’t even traded Hopper and Bruhn yet.

It seriously is nuts. Brisbane must be drooling.

The Collingwood board told me to piss off, after I said Pick 18 is most likely to be used for O Henry...

Just told them Bobby Hill contract offer is more than O Henry offer, and that Pick 18 is a pretty decent deal, considering he's OOC and wanting out, and also not Best 22.

Then they started ranting about splitting Pick 7 and taking SDK... Lol

Now I get it... How feral opposition boards can become. I haven't done that in a while, but oh well, it was amusing.
Firstly all boards are feral, especially this time of the year.
You forgot to mention that a number of us are ok with 18. Not ecstatic but it's the best of a bad situation.
At the same time, we're happy to keep Ollie if Mackie wants to low ball us with pick 38. There is precedent for players being forced to stay and thriving (eg Papley). Even those who left eventually (T Kelly, Gibbs, Lobb) provided good service to their clubs before leaving.
The point is that it wouldn't be a disaster for us if Ollie stayed. It provides more time to build bonds with team mates, put his case forward for a regular spot in the seniors etc. If he still wants to leave next year, his value is likely to go up even further. Win win

So who would be interest in Copper Stephens and what would thay pay?
I think Geel should keep him - 2023 wil be make or break for him

But in the games hes played - i really liked the energy/effort/enthusiam he brought to every contest he was involved in - and he looked like he concentrated when he played

You compare that to Narkle - polar opposite in those facets

By all reports Mackie lowballing all deals… reported he has offered pick 38 for Henry, and a future first and future second coming back for Bruhn, turn it up. Not sure on the Bowes deal but bulking on a second going back. Sounds too greedy, but hopefully just posturing. Lets get these deals done! Surely if we get all three and go to the draft with pick 7 and a spec pick its a great outcome….
It's a nothing brain fart by Rendell.

It's standard practice but the media just want something to throw darts with because they want negative stories on us as a counter narrative. If it's all one way for us they'll lose a lot of listeners and clicks

Id just like to know who woudl be interested and what tehy would offer. Most clubs will smell a bargain..so I doubt we trade him

Look he is a bit of a smart aarse - but was that sledge against Nth Melb - Geel were a mile in front and they kicked another goal - andMackie said look its only Nth Melb - but it was alot better and cleverer than that - thats why im asking
Was something like "It's a shame we are playing this well and its only Nth Melb"

I think your referring to a game Vs North where Mackie (in earshot of North players) was asking Cats players during the game, if they got 4 pts for beating North, or only 2.

Something like
18 for Bruhn and 44, values Bruhn at 31 under DVI

38 and 44 to someone like Richmond for 31

31 to Collingwood for Henry

Yeah, fair enough. Pretty sure that low ball is just a conversation starter, we won't have the list spots for many picks this season.

Tim Kelly stayed at Geelong for 2 years after being drafted. That is the same number of years that Ollie Henry has been at Collingwood. And the same number of years that Taylor Adam’s was at GWS.

If any of you were listening, that was me that just called, haha
Something went wrong right from the start but they stuck with you your phone was so muffled it was near impossible to understand what you were saying. They should have stopped you and cleared the line up but said you had been hanging on for a long time so continued.

All valid points but based around those players being contracted.

Henry is out of contract. Being forced to stay isn't a thing for out of contract players.

Just what do you think is the correct value for him then ...considering he is OOC.

Jordan Clark was P15 and we got 22 ..with a slight change of futures. ... upgrade 4th round
