So he took pick 27 for an all Australian ruckman who they thought was so good they gave him a 7 year $1m deal. But won’t accept pick 25 for a third year player who couldn’t make their best 22 and was offered a low ball offer?

i get they were doing a version of salary dump but this wasn’t from back ending it was a deliberate view from the club as to how valuable grundy was.

they can’t compare Grundy value to Henry - not in a real scenario.

if they stick in to this view then I don’t see Geelong relenting. Only possibility is what they might get for Sav to add to it. But Sav is pretty valuable back up?
