We fluked that win over CarLOLton, beat one of the worst teams since Fitzroy in Norf and then beat up on an injury riddled Poort with the emotional help of Sloaney retiring.

Even this week, Brisbane battered up and injured off a 6 day break versus our 9 day break...

Nicks definitely did out coach Hinkley which is great, and I hope I'm wrong about Nicks and he makes us successful.

My big issue with him is how slow he is to react and learn. It takes him months to make changes that are evident to most of us nuffies on here after 1 week.

Got nothing to do with the ridiculousness of people praising Ken for ******* up and owning up to it. Nicks has his own issues, but by god he’s not anywhere near as bad as Hinkley. (Yet, at least).

It wasn’t exactly a commanding win, we were beaten in most aspects of the game. We basically turned about 5 turnovers into entries and goals in the first quarter against the tide. And they basically kicked themselves out of it for the remaining 3 quarters. Sometimes now try and stay with me here, the total score isn’t the entire story.

Fine if people don't rate Nicks - but he completely out coached Hinkley on Thursday.

Hinkley out coached himself being wedded to the deep entry to contest system that Nicks also favoured for quite a while. He’s got a great midfield that can stream forward ahead of the contest and refuses to open his forward line and have entries directed low at moving targets. It reminds me of Chris Scott sticking with that stupid riskless/precise forward movement strategy.

He only did so because he knew he was going to be justifiable bashed from pillar to post for such a stupid decision. They can’t even get their lies straight either - saying before the match there was “no damage” (despite us being told it was a grade 1 tear earlier) and then in the post match talking about scans to see if there was any “further damage”. Hes an absolute bellend.

The blame should have fallen 100% on Rozee. He is the captain and he put his hand up to play and failed dismally

Rozee is a new captain - a young captain - and so full credit to Ken to grab the blame and own it himself rather than blame his player
