Thought Sloane was best. Brilliant player makes you forget about whats his name. Our mids were brilliant our forwards in general were very good our defence played very well. Cheney had a great game. Lever though was excellent. So was Bob.

and Lyons.

Goal kicking was poor. But we would have needed to kick another 10 goals on top of keeping the Saints to 45 in order to go above 6th and 7th on the ladder. Didn't cost us a place, and our % is looking much better still.

Reckon it will continue to improve as our draw will open up after West Coast. We still have the Bombers and Lions at home towards the end if the year.

Our defensive ave is now under 90 (89.9 and heading towards the magical 86 or below) whilst offensively we are well over 100 (currently at 114).

good: a win
Bad: witches hat opposition

terrible game to watch.
Personally I enjoyed the game as we played well.

Freo game was worse as they dragged us down to their level.

Ps. Gather you didn't enjoy watching jj play well! ;)

Best comment I heard in regards to Hendo was

"Hit the bloody contest, don't sneak up behind him and fondle his nipples!"
How about when he protected Bruce in the marking contest. Seriously gtfu!

Gov will be right. Get around him.

Sloane bog. Hope the shoulder is okay.

Get rid of Henderson. I'm off him. A few weak attempts tonight. Two poor shots on goal.

Douglas deserves a break as well. Can't do much right.

Lever had a great game.

St Kilda weren't much chop. Let's be honest

One of those games where nearly all players played well.

Interesting dilemma for the selectors next week. Thommo must come back in but who goes out?

Matty Crouch played a top game and Lyons also got plenty of the ball and used it well.

Douglas was the least prominent of our mid-field - does that mean that he goes out?

And Brad Crouch - how do we get him back into the 22 if those in it are performing?

We have a really tough game coming up next week so for Brad Crouch IMO it looks like more SANFL until after the bye.

But once again - who goes out for Thommo?

That was a great win and we looked sharp with a lot of help due to the lack of pressure put on by St Kilda. It's a shame they turned it a bit ugly in the second half by seriously flooding numbers back.

I can't watch Henderson anymore, he is one soft cookie - like the kind you get at Subway. Give Wigg a crack and reward him for his efforts lately.

Disappointing last quarter again, we did win it by 2 goals, but should have been way more with some more efficient kicking.

Loved seeing Sauce move a lot more freely today. It doesn't look like he's labouring as hard now so hopefully he can build some good form either side of the break.

Good
- Crouchy was huuuuuuuge, especially in the first when the game was still on. 17 touches in the first is one way to make an impact as the late inclusion. Most impressively he was able to accumulate uncontested ball, and actually use it well (mostly)
- Just about the best game of Lyons career. It was important for him and Mrouch to have big games to keep their spots safe from Thommo, and they really stepped up.
- I've been very reluctant about giving Jenkins the contract he wants, but geez he's looked unstoppable at times this year. That being said, it was against approximately 0 opponents.
- Lever, Talia, Hartigan all provided rebound and used the ball well. Best game of Lever's career?
- Sloaney was immense. Enough said. Hope his shoulder holds up ok. Due for a rest?
- Lairdy was Lairdy. Tough and brave, and picked up right where he left off.
- Brown was solid, once again
- Dominated clearances against a solid midfield outfit
- McGovern's marking
- Ball use was sensational all night, albeit under minimal pressure.
- Jacobs was a big part of our midfield dominance. Hickey's a handy ruckman as well. Hopefully he can carry this into next week.
- We absolutely smashed them in all four quarters. Complete performance.

Bad
- Thought Geary killed Betts
- Hendo was very poor at times
- Douglas was invisible, but tried hard.
- Milera is so classy with ball in hand, he just needs to learn to accumulate it more.
- Atkins was invisible in the first half, but eventually worked his way into it
- Tex kicking for goal
- Charlie had his quietest game for a while, but it was good to see him get on the scoreboard. It seems like he gets at least one of those long runs along the wing a game
- McGovern's goal kicking.

Ugly
- I really rated Richardson before this year, but this and the Weagles loss a few weeks ago were really awful. Is he just not a very good coach?

The bye is a week away

If they're consistent they'll keep Thompson out, because neither Crouch nor Lyons had a game worth being dropped for. That was the reason Crouch couldn't get back in, why should it be different for him?

Milera goes out for Thommo IMO and Douglas moves to Milera's role

Douglas for mine. Love to see Wigg for Hendson too.

Don't be too concerned about goal kicking, guys.. Wind was very swirly at ground level.

Hendo was bloody awful all game. Even that mark in the middle bounced off his face..
Everyone else played their role really well and we got the job done against a poor team.
