Goodwin gets 1 week

Given the other suspensions this year, I thought he'd get a week as soon as I saw the replay on the big screen. Still disagree with it though.

Especially if people look back at tapes of Goody, even from the premiership years, he's always been arms and legs flailing eveywhere. If Dustin Fletcher can use that defence, why can't Goody? Not to mention his clean record.

James clearly wrong footed Goody, and in an attempt to move his body back the other way (so he could stop James), his right leg lifted off the ground, and connected with James. Its near impossible to keep both feet planted when switching body weight from one side to the other. reflex action...

couple this with the fact that he connected with James' knee (or just above), how they figured he tripped him ill hve no idea! should never have made it to the tribunal...

the appeal of course, will be thrown out!
