I think the heat is going to play a hand in the game,it is going to 28c and hotter in the centre of the G,that will suit the Lions.
I remember when Robert Walls was coaching them against Hawthorn,it was a hot day, hawthorn were up by 38 points at 3/4 time,Wallis pointed to them standing the shade, and looking a bit flat, well Brisbane ran over the top of them.
I am sure the Lions will cope with the heat better!!!
*45 points 😉

It's a fine line between embarrassing and fun.

This week in Melbourne is tailor made for us adhd-ers. Can let ourselves fly and don't have to mask and self regulate our highs.

From that perspective - how cool is fevola? Totally over the top, no filter. My kinda guy.
Would you feel the same if say Dayne Beams did something similar yesterday at BHA training.

I have no problem with opposition and neutrals having fun with us.

I think I'd laugh at fev. Clearly it's a stich up not serious. I'm sure he doesn't give a rats who wins. Just playing for laughs.

We've had some awesome interactions with pies supporters here today.

Feels different to normal games - we are both grand finalists and people of both brands seem to enjoying that for the moment.

It'll be back to sheep stations on Saturday.

Hmmm. Social media but can't find it again.

Clearly I'm so excited I don't even know which day of the week it is.
Me neither Gadzorks, but I feel sure it is one of these.

Forecast of 29 degrees for Saturday. That’s actually getting pretty hot now tbh. Whilst that should help us you’d think, I hope we have enough runners out there too.

How about we resurrect this thing of beauty? Tactically it could work. While the Collingwood players are laughing at us, we could get the jump on them.
Why did they make that paddle pop lion so big? It may have had less controversy had they just kept it small like the traditional one.

Now I'll never figure which day it is 🤣.

That's an awesome post 3kz. Love your commitment.
Thanks Gadzorks. You know I rate you super highly, so your post warranted it.

That is the other great thing about this week. The unity and solidarity and collective desire to see us win the Premiership on Saturday is a galvanising force on our board.

The stakes are high, but there is no mistaking the joy that comes from having our very special group of players in the Grand Final.

I think there was LSD involved.

I don't recall that strategy working very often the first time around.

With a nod to POBT (who stole the idea from Inside Football anyhow)... A power ranking of each teams likely best 22.

Note, these aren't matchups, just a ranking of importance for each team. Fair warning, I gave this about 5 minutes thought, so take it with a grain of salt. Or rip shit out of it... your choice.

Bias aside, I think we've got an edge on raw talent, but we all know footy isn't always that simple. Collingwood at their best play greater than the sum of their parts.
