The good thing is we have those 3 players all able to give drive in different ways off half back. Spreading the load.

Even starce and lester if they get it in the right spot will have a crack

Re Gardiner, do we worry about him second up? He looked pretty gassed by the end

Payne if it’s accurate that he injured his other ankle sounds like not much of a chance to play anyway

Hoping like hell linc is totally fit. He was phenomenal on the weekend and our best set shot. Does not seem to get nervous

So far it’s the pies scrambling at selection table but that changes if linc out

If it’s Gardiner, he won’t have nearly as physical a game so I imagine he’ll make it through a bit better. Curnow is an absolute monster, Pies don’t have anyone like that

Who else is trying to work but keeps on checking the BigFooty Lions page every 15 to 30 minutes?

Luckily I’m on night shifts at the moment, nobody is posting on bigfooty at 2am so I’m fairly safe.

Doesn’t stop me from checking it though hahaha

He is embarrassing .

It's a fine line between embarrassing and fun.

This week in Melbourne is tailor made for us adhd-ers. Can let ourselves fly and don't have to mask and self regulate our highs.

From that perspective - how cool is fevola? Totally over the top, no filter. My kinda guy.

Frampton is more a ruck/defender isn't he? Had a look and he has kicked 19 goals in his 39 game career, a few options for the Pies.

1- Cox plays forward and Frampton is the ruck relief for Cameron.
2- Frampton straight swap for McStay goes to Andrews and tries to keep him busy much like Ben King did.
3- Frampton plays back and Howe goes forward.

With them having 3 rucks does it make it more of a possibility that Darcy Fort is the sub.

Frampton played on Joe both games this year

Cox is definitely going to spend time in the ruck, at least for centre bounces.

Hippy took him out of the game at the Gabba early with a good hip & shoulder. Went off the ground and struggled for the remainder of the game.
Just reinterating what I was told a few days ago, The Pies are still seriously considering Frampton down back with Howe now the replacement for Dan.

I got this from the Pies board so no way to know if it is correct.
Sounds logical though.

How about we resurrect this thing of beauty? Tactically it could work. While the Collingwood players are laughing at us, we could get the jump on them.

Anyway, on to serious matters. We come into this game with great stability. Naming an unchanged side from last weekend is the most likely outcome.

FB: Starcevich Andrews Gardiner
HB: McKenna Lester Coleman
C : McCluggage Robertson Berry
HF: Bailey Hipwood McCarthy
FF: Rayner, Daniher, Cameron
FOL:McInerney, Neale, Dunkley

INT: Zorko, Wilmot, Fletcher, Ah Chee

Sub: Lyons

This side picks itself. It screams PREMIERSHIP.

Maroon isn't a term you hear much these days. When I was growing up a lot of people called us the Maroons. Which I suppose is better than the morons.

If we ever ditch maroon I'll be devastated. The guys played for the maroon and blue jumper.

And without question the most outstanding jumper combo in the game.
