This clip here certainly shows a decent chunk of people in the background there.
Good to see, I was unable to make it, need to get a certain amount of work done before flying down on Friday morning.

I'm going Connor McKenna for a MASSIVE game.

Has won a gf in an equally intense sporting environment. Knows what it takes. Clearly has the 'give it everything to win gene'. Drove him to return to a country he has already left just so he could crack the premiership here.

Will lift and provide excellent leadership on field.

Fantastic! Been calling for this but why the white shorts, when Collingwood have white in their strip? Just creates a clash imo.
The Maroon shorts would have made more sense to me.

So many good vibes heading into this GF, virtually full strength, great finals series (bar the first 20 min in the prelim), goal of the year, Brownlow, it'll be the perfect season come Saturday if the boys can lift the cup!

Maroon + white shorts = 2001 omen?

Kind of strange we have to wear white shorts, there are no clashes and we wore maroon shorts in 02/03.

McInerney is so important on Saturday. He needs to get the ball moving forward, this will nullify De Goey's ability to exit the front of the stoppage and creating scoring chaos. The work of McCarthy, Rayner and Cameron to prevent Crisp and Daicos to handball recieve out the back of the stoppage is essential to removing the Pies overlap run. As simple as it sounds, if we nail these two areas we will have the pies on toast.

Interesting that we are..
  • reaching out to the GWS fan base (they have one?)
  • embracing the non-afl state brotherhood (so QLD, NSW and Canberra)
  • tapping into the anyone-but-Collingwood vein
  • claiming to be 'the people's team' (where are we perceived on the workers to toffs scale of things?)
... all in one fairly laid back advertisement

Also what was the meaning of the X with Sydney 2018 on it at the end???

Does Kai have an interest in a media/presentation type career he wonders...

I think the best way to sum it up is

don't overthink it

We just have a very unimaginative social media team

Ah that is our AFLX trophy ... got it.

I would have thought pulling a nice 2003 premiership cup into the camera would have had a better effect (I mean we do have three on site) or are we subliminally embracing 'the plastic'

Yes yes don't over think it I get it ...

You don't remember our AFLX premiership?

One of the highlights of my Sydney-attending career. By which I mean it and 2009 and now 2022 is about it.
