I'll bet up when you put both nuts on Dodongo.Dodongo will put both Dodongo's right nut and Dodongo's left kidney on the Lions.
Dodongo just can't see us losing.

Generally when I'm aware of my hamstrings I'm really wishing I didn't have anyHamstring awareness - hate this term. Hey, look, I have a hamstring. Who knew?
Correct.Honestly I wouldn't worry about Daicos outside of hitting him with physicality when he gets the ball. Stop De Goey and we will go a long way to beating the Pies.
Linc for when he is back and Dev when he goes up to stoppageMcCarthy did a great job shutting down Naicos in round 4 when he was playing off half back - only had the 11 disposals at half time. They pushed him up into the middle after half time and he ran around collecting 27 disposals in a half.
I like the McCarthy match up again if he starts off half back. If we moves into the middle, I wonder if we still employ a tag or focus more on winning the contested ball and limit the ball getting to him on the outside. If Dunkley can get on top of De Goey and with Adams out, there's a lot of reliance on the likes of Mitchell to win the contested ball inside.
No time for nerves yet but never ending excitement for me.excitement and nerves … it’s not a great combo for the heart. A bit like a jaeger bomb.
Hopefully it’s not serious and is able to play on Saturday cause he is a very underrated but crucial player in the lineup.Heard a rumour Linc’s calf was strapped at training and he left the track early? Any intel on this?
Would like to think it’s just a corky.Heard a rumour Linc’s calf was strapped at training and he left the track early? Any intel on this?

Went to the Lions shop yesterday and they were packaging up half the stock to be sent down to Melbourne to sell. Was thinking for all the non-Lions (and non-Pies) supporters popping in wishing us well for the GF, there's a quick way to make some money here. Hopefully for the club but whatever. Obviously there's not enough time logistically this year with 4 days left, but hopefully this might be a 'next year' thing if the club gets back. It essentially piggy-backs off the GWS 'join us' social media stuff.
From Sunday passed, Lions release a new category of supporter; the 'Bandwagon' supporter. They get a Lions hat with a big 'Bandwagon' patch and the date of the GF. Then they get also a Member certificate with something along the lines of 'This Membership is granted for the 24 hours of the 30th September, with the Member released from the 1st October back to the 'Hawthorn Hawks, Geelong Cats etc' - whoever they usually support.
It's a dumb gimmick that you could flog for $30. Casuals would buy it to have a cap for the day, which may eventually become a collectible or just another game day purchase that ends up in a Good Sammies collection bin. Either way with all of the non-aligned supporters, and those that are just anti-Pies, you could sell 10,000 on the GF day and the club makes a bomb.
Anyway, too late I guess. At some stage though this is inevitable and too sensible for someone not to do.
One thing that struck me in the aftermath of Lachie winning the Brownlow is that it was a total anti climax.
Lachie or the club didnt even make a song and dance about it on the night. You could tell it was a distraction.
The boys are 100% focused on the GF and we've learnt the hard way how it feels to fail in finals.
No guarantee of anything if the cards don't fall our way but I think our prep. has been fine and there's no hope of us starting like last week. We're ready. Let's hope we're good enough.
Absolutely.I reckon Collingwood are going to throw absolutely everything at us in the first quarter, pressure like we haven’t faced before.
It’ll be interesting to see how we work through it and problem solve.
In their first two finals they started well, then clung on. Melb and GWS didn't have the firepower to scrounge wins, but only just missed. Compared to Melb and GWS we have the ability to come over the top if they do get off to a good start.Absolutely.
They know the longer the match goes on with us in touch with them the more likely we are to get our confidence up and get a run on .
They'll go as hard as they possibly can early and try to get us on the ropes , hit our guys hard, break us down and then try to clog the game up and make it a war of attrition.
They'll be a lot tougher than the Blues. But they're still not playing like they were in the middle of the year and have a few injury issues. So maintaining the intensity will be their problem.
When they start jumping on the ball in stoppages our crowd needs to start screaming 'ball' at the top of their lungs. 2 or 3 times of that and the umps usually get the message.

Thanks Tom, how things have changed in 20years. Used to be the parade then captains run.
