Training Great, Good and the Bad vs Port Adelaide

GOOD - Everything.

BAD - Robbie Gray. Bad for us because if he didn't play it would have been a 20 goal + shellacking. Despite his Morrissey haircut. he's a great player

UGLY - Trying to keep the lid on. Complacency is our biggest opponent now. Also - Westhoff and Trengove's hipster ironic beards. Either shave them off or grow your hair long

Great games from Sauce, Brad, Matt, Sloane, Eddie, Tex and Laird. Greenwood's 1st half was brilliant. 12 tackles!

I can forgive the poor goal kicking performance in the wet. We improved in the 2nd half, when it became dryer

Good
Textbook niggle, right amount, at the right times, to the right targets. Seriously improved at this across the year.
Tonnes of attack on goal, over 40 scoring shots, imagine if it was a dry day, would have been a huge margin
Should have a real psychological edge over them if we meet them in finals
Eddies appendix must have been weighing him down, had plenty of zip tonight
Did it one person down for the night
That will shut all the port supporters up for a while
Largest ever showdown margin
Nearly locked up a top 2 finish.

Good - all the boys

Bad - Port.

Special mention - glad Eddie had a laparoscopic rather than an open cut surgery!
- bummer Eddie's left foot goal of the year contender was ruled touched off the boot. Really amazing goal, would have been!

Honestly port absolutely awful. Barely a contest. For a Showdown with so much on the line? Hard to gauge how good we were really.

Jacobs, Crouch, Crouch, Douglas, Laird, Lever, walker, betts, lynch very good.

Sloane, Kelly, Jenkins, Smith, Brown good.

Keath will be better for the experience. Dixon too big for him. Did some good things however. Might need to keep paying out of necessity anyway.

Cameron injured. Just making up rotations really.

Gov quiet.

Hard at the contest. Very hard. Made port look average at the physical stuff.

Good Flogging them.
Bad Not holding them to their lowest ever score.
Really Bad Going to friends house for the game and BBQ, surrounded by paps, my wife and i the only Crows supporters and all but one pap stayed with us to watch till the end of game as the others has skulked off midway through the third.

Time for another edition OF........ 'From the Port Board'

"The Club will release some behind the scenes footage of KT talking to the players at the end of season saying mean, harsh words, and Ken will say things like unacceptable while secretly wanking under the desk as he then goes on to tell us all just how good all the other teams are and we should be proud of our guys and know that no matter what will will keep working on it.
Then we will have email and social media messages pointing to the success of China, or our Indigenous programs, or our work with some other organisation and how we are making a difference and we all should be proud.
Then next year as crowd numbers fall massively we will be blamed for not supporting the team when they really need it. And once again our inboxes will be flooded with meesages imploring us to turn up, spend our cash, bring a friend, we play an exciting brand of footy.
Just like our gameplan you can be sure as sure everything will remain the same over and over and over until pure $$$$ means they must act.
That is now the Port Adelaide way."

"Faith was gone in 2016. Cya"

"KT needs to realise this ain't Norwood and wake the **** up, Ballsy decisions got us in the AFL & ballsy decisions are the only way of getting us out of this failure cycle."

"Keith Thomas, it is time to listen to your paying supporters."

"Yep after watching this he has lost the group.
Sorry ken you have lost me as well."

"For a fan with half a clue, this is the most frustrating and anger inducing time in our history in the AFL. 2008-2012 sucked dog balls more for results, but we all knew we were working with a fitness department headed by a guy with Moobs, a part time Skype assistant and an roped in IT guy to help. And no talent wanting to come here. We've got everything on a platter off-field now, we've brought in serious A grade talent like Ryder and Dixon. And you'd be hard pressed to find a way to setup the side to make the side less able to play to it's strengths. KT is a freaking extremely well credentialed guy as a footballer. How he's allowing this to continue on is a major black mark on his time at the club. The cost of paying out Hinkley is going to be less than the loss of sponshorships and memberships if he stays. Koch should be financially savvy enough to see that. I get there's a bond between the three as pulling the club out of the ashes together, but that time is past. We're now on a stable footing off-field, we can afford to move on a coach that obviously isn't up to it."

"How has Ken allowed his team to not turn up against a top eight side this year and for the past 4 showdowns? Was our last close showdown the one after Phil Walsh? The one where we where beaten all day only to stage a mild comeback but not get there?"

'Hinkley's terrible."

"Whoever decided to let Sloane run free should be marched out of the club tonight. ******* disgraceful."

"Every game with Ken puts us backwards.
Our core players get older, our competition gets stronger and our attendance gets smaller.
Cheap wins against lowly teams cloaks this. But without doubt Ken must go, and immediately."

"If you look at our list with Ryder, R Gray, Wingard, Wines, Ebert, Polec and Dixon, we should be much better, so it must be the coaching."

Seriously, who is that dumb Crows supporter with the banner. Bloody embarrassing.

"Its a Murder"

I know we all need to move on, but thats still inappropriate. Any poster from the game saw this? Was it questioned?

Do you need a safe space? We're called the Crows. The sign is appropriate. Just an unfortunate coincidence most likely.

Gov was not quiet. He didn't have the scoreboard impact but his pressure and harassment was outstanding.
